I agree with this. Affiliate marketing requires only basic IT skills and a bit of marketing strategies that don't even need to be learned but can be followed step by step using some of available tutorials. People find affiliate marketing hard because it requires focus, persistance and time - things that most people are no good at.

First money I made online was from affiliate marketing and I still make money with affiliate marketing even though I create my own products now.  I make MORE money from creating my own products but I always put an affiliate link in.

Really why is that?  Affiliate marketing tends to be the first thing most people teach beginners because it is so easy.  You can don't even need a website to do it.

The newbie Affiliate course on here is so awesome and so is the Online University. This teaches you everything that you need to know about the products, blogs, putting plugins in WP. Like I tell people that Know me in Amarillo and want to do Internet Marketing for a living to replace there Jobs, is that  start off slowly and work your way up. They ask me why am not working and can do this, and I tell them I am retired from the Army,and I can do this full time and this is what I like to do is being on the computer.  Me and my wife are the same way. she comes home from work and she is on FB and that.
