Hey - I'm always up for some narcowotsit neck-stretching (something deeply disturbing about that - lol)!

narcissistic - To sum it up: God's gift to oneself--the "world" can go to H*ll"
In which case: good luck talking yourself blue in the face.

    Question 1:
The 'common misinterpretation' may simply be down to:
    • 1. A lack of good 'signs'.

    Makes sense

...If you had wanted a thorough critique then it may have been a better idea to have put the post in the Product/Service Reviews section togther with, perhaps, a poll asking which was the 'better' salespage.

I'm sticking with my gut that this is a good thread for it.
...Greater potential for helping other writers down the road.

    • 2.Quite a few people don't enjoy doing critiques because they're basically nice; whereas I'm a complete sh*t and love ripping writing apart to see what makes it tick and how, if it can, it can be improved  >:D o:)

From a post in another thread...

...it's not the kind words which will help you to reach your goals. In reality, it is the criticism; not always kind either, which will mold you into the best you can be. That is, if you DON'T let it break you and you're willing and able to use it to your own advantage.

This is why I value your opinions.

Everybody loves roses, until they find a prick in the bushes. No, I'm not calling you that, just telling it like it is.
If you really are as you refer to yourself: "a complete sh*t", then I'm a fat 'n happy fly feeding on the pile. ;)

And, I don't care what you call yourself.
I still think you're a dear, sweet man.
    A genuine o:) in a >:D 's disguise.

    Question 2:
Why haven't I set up a writing evaluation service?
    • 1. Because I've never thought of doing so
    • 2. Because with only having 4-5 hours a day I'm trying to concentrate on 1 business at a time

    Again, makes sense. :-)

    I feel a bit of a 'Wicked Willie' !! ;D ;D ;D

Actually, on a serious base - that idea of an evaluation service has gone into my 'Ideas Book' so thank you for planting that seed.

Yes this thread probably is as good a place to have it as those reading it are 'in the zone' as they say.

Perhaps we and others could come up with some other 'site vs. site' comparisons to highlight the differences in good and bad copy?
