New Physical Sales Page
« on: June 05, 2016, 01:13:11 AM »
Hello Fellow Members: Found a great product with great price and am going to give it a go as a sales item. Moving into the personal safety niche mainly for women. Love for you to review and comment - Please as many as possible. If I can get 10 or so comments, questions, and feedback, I'd like to then explain every step and how it got to that stage. All comments are welcomed - on layout, image use, video use and placement, payment buttons and placement as well as copy writing. Thanks in advance for your help.

Many thanks - Magicman

Here's the URL for my complete  sales page: http://edgarallenmarketing.com/tactical-flash/. Might end up building a new eCommerce site for physical products.

Hi MM

Would the product be legal to use in public? :shocked2:
Methinks you have put together a good sales page.

Just curious since I cannot purchase ::!:: ;)

Hi Jim - Yes, absolutely legal in the US. At its heart, it's a flashlight with some added capability. Thanks for the nice comment about the sales page. I'm really sorry I can't ship this to the UK.

Here's a little insight on that - my added shipping cost for the US is $3.95. That is just to increase my unit profit. My supplier has a US warehouse and charges me $0.00 for shipping. So, for US customers, I'll get an extra 4 bucks in profit. For the customer, the whole purchase price is below $20.00 which is very favorable. Many people are offering these for up to $69.00 (and more).

Thanks for taking a look and commenting. Best - MM

Hi Edgar,

Cool product! I bet it will do well for you.  (Not trying to be negative but) One thing that stood out to me was the lumen rating.

In the sub-headline it says "2500 Lumens LED Flashlight ..."
In the testimonial it says "If you put a 200 lumen T AC-Light ..."
Under the sheriff it says "360 powerful lumens ..."

So to me it's unclear what the actual lumen level is. Or are the different numbers (200/360/2500) referring to varying levels on the light?

Love the layout Edgar. Very clean and appealing to the eye.

I have one suggestion that may make people feel more comfortable:

Have a separate page (or maybe form right on sales page) where you allow the buyer to supply their physical mailing address and email.

Totally understand you have a drop shipper but people are very leery these days. By asking for their address upfront before sending to Paypal, it might make them more comfortable. Another bonus to this is, you have a list of buyers for later use:)

Overall, really like the sales page.

Terry

Appreciate the feedback, guys. I think Terry's point is quite helpful and I'm going to try to add something to the page to handle this concern. Thanks, again, for the feedback. -- MM

PS- at it's heart, it just a great flashlight---legal everywhere.BTW, for cyclists or motorists maybe broke down on the side of the road, the "strobe" feature is fantastic for maximum safety at night.

Terry, I really appreciated your comment (with Jim's "Amen"). I've redesigned the order area and clearly note that a mailing address will be required on the next page. Also isolated "Buy" button alone to make it stand out more....and to make the "Need Address" line more prominent. Thanks for your help. - MM
