Did you like his testimonial of the site? Amazing who and what you can find on Fiverr.com isn't it?
Here's his link... http://www.fiverr.com/users/beachdude and tell him I sent you if you decide to use him.

The site has taken 2 months to date to setup and is still in finetuning mode... that's why I asked for more input from my friends here at RRW. I was starting to develope webdesign blindness. LOL!

Looking for more testimonials video or text so if anyone is interested, I can't pay you but you can plug your business in your testimonial - Just PM me! Thanks ;D

Hi Howard, nice site.  It is easy to navigate and loads pretty fast.

The only consideration that jumped out right away is the lack of filler for the two columns on the right.  They are empty after about 1/3 of the way down the web page.

A two column setup would allow you to fill the narrow column to the right all the way to the bottom . . . at least until there are enough advertisers to take up the space of a three column page.  Those two columns also load slower than the rest of the page but not enough to be troublesome.

Best wishes for your success.

Cheers

Clicked on the site at 9.19am Sunday 6th

Verrry slow load up - I would have clicked the cross if I had been surfing.

Point 1 -  You have a box in the right hand sidebar called 'Login/Logout' - what does that refer to? I assume it's something to do with the shopping cart stuff but it isn't exactly clear.

Point 2 - You have the posts set out as complete posts rather than teasers with the link to read more at the bottom. Using the shortened versions of posts might help in reducing the appearance of white space at the end of the 2 sidebars

Point 3 - The newsflash box runs yawningly slowly (at least it did for me) - less of a flash more of a dull glow

Point 4 - The Checkout page - The first bar seems to be too wide as the other 2 bars are pushed to the second line and are left justified. That may be because I had nothing in my cart but it could be a layout thing or just a different browser setting (I'm using FF version 3.6.13)

Point 5 - There is currently the option to leave a comment on the check out page. I can see the possibilities of this - return buyers could leave comments but they would have to be on the checkout page to leave a comment - not sure if that was meant to be.

Point 6 - There isn't a link to return to the posts / home page from the check out page. I had to reload the site to start reading again.

Point 7 - On each page in the footer links you have the 'Share This' button at the end of each page - is that warranted?

Suggestion 1 - I would have put the categories section at the top of the mid bar - that way visitors have instant ability to click on what they want.
Suggestion 2 - Does there have to be so many translation options? If so, then having that above Mike's testimonial would again make it easier for your foreign visitors (do people actually click on these things? Is that testable?)

If I have any further ideas then I'll be back

Good site all in all Howard - keep on trucking!

D

Howard,

I see some really great suggestions already here by the group, and I see you've already implemented some of them. (I peeked in here yesterday and can see the changes you've made so far.)

I'll add two things:

1. In your header you have the words  "Reseller Warrior"  in blue with a red outline.  You also have the titles of your articles in red. However, to me, the reds do not match--as in they maybe clash a bit. The red in the Reseller Warrior is seems a bit bright compared to the red in the article titles. So, I'm wondering if you can get the reds to match a little closer. Or tone down the red in Reseller Warrior. Now in defense of the use of red, I do want to say I absolutely love, love red. However, when the two reds don't match (or contrast nicely--IMO), then something may need to be adjusted.

2. You mention "Newsletter", but there is nothing to say what the newsletter is about. So for right now there doesn't seem to be an incentive to sign up for your newsletter. (I realize you are working on this site as a brand new one so naming the newsletter and/or giving a hint as to its contents may be what you plan for alter.

I do like your little warrior character up by the word Warrior. And the one with the shopping cart.

3. Your people graphic in the upper right corner of your header. Did you design that...or is there some way to change it at all?  If you could put some red duds on at least one of those people or have one of them have a red folder or something that would give you some contrast to match the Reseller Warrior and the red in your titles, that would be striking.

All in all, looking really good.

Hi Howard,

I like the site. Plenty of info. I'm not sure about the grey background, and there's quite a lot of red, apart from that, excellent site.

Thanks Donald!
Wasn't to sure about the reds as blue is my favorite color but thought I'd give it a go for something different! Read somewhere, can't remember where (sign of old age setting in) that red was suppose to encourage buying?  Have considered changing the grey to another neutral color but for now... well, it'll do! LOL

When all else fails... PUNT!
