Time for some Comments on my Site Please
« on: December 11, 2014, 08:31:27 PM »
Hi everyone,

My site is coming along and I thought I'd see if anyone here would be kind enough to give me some feedback.

A few notes....

1) This is merely the beginning. I know I have a long way to go.

2) I decided to go with ZVZoo after all. 5% for payment processing AND potential affiliates is a steal in my opinion. I rushed to judgement the first time I looked at it.

I thank you all for any and all feedback you can give.

Cheers,

Ron

3) I also know I need to rewrite a lot of the RRW stuff (sales pages, etc).

I just wanted to get a framework up that will work long term.

There's training for that in the membership...try the IM Technical Training in the Newbies Start Here section.

JVZoo is the only platform I use other than doing free wsos with warriorplus

Ron

Just had a look around your site - impressed with what you have done.

May I suggest that each of your posts/articles ends with a 'call to action' i.e. a link to your lead capture page - or even your sales product - give your readers something to do at the end, after all, they've read what you've written - they could be interested in more.

PS. Don't forget the legal pages...the membership has a legal page generator.

Thanks guys. The kind words and ideas are much appreciated.

To hear this stuff from those that have been there and done that is encouraging.

Thanks Dom. I have plans to add calls to action - was just trying to get a bunch of content up first. A good expample of my plans is: http://webincomepro.com/affiliate-marketing-strategies/

For some reason Affiliate Marketing has popped up a lot. Hopefully it's a strong niche.

Thanks very much magicman for the reminder. I'm going to go find that legal page generator and get it up ASAP.

Cheers,

Ron

Beautiful site layout, but a couple of things that bothered me right off were a signup form flying in before I even have a chance to see if I like it enough to sign up and the bar of social icons blocking the left side of the content without an obvious way to close them. I know it's important to spread the word, but only if it doesn't distract from the main objective of having me read your content.

Thanks oldbuddy.

I get what you're saying about the popup. There's  a setting where I can have it popup on the second page viewed instead of the first. I think I'll change that.

For me the social sharing bar doesn't cover any content. Could you please ost a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Thanks,

Ron

Thanks again for the heads up magicman.

With the use of the awesome software available here I was able to create my legal links and pages in 5 minutes.

It seems to be related to the width of my screen window, if I narrow it the social bar goes away and if I make it wide enough it fits right, but at normal viewing size I get this.
