Any of you good people have any idea how to setup a domain name like http://glassware.infocreator.com instead of http://www.infocreator.com/glassware  ???

Think it looks more professional, *grin*

Hi shadowdawn

I'm am never too sure which is the best layout. It may depend on the type of site you have.

The BBC, one of the most visited sites always uses a /'subject'

Now if you are a car manufacturer the subdomain/domain may be better.

How do you set subdomain/domain up?

That is fairly straight forward.

Log in to your cpanel

Click on the sub domain menu.

Enter the details as requested.

If you need any more information just get back to the forum.

Hi Shadowdawn,   ::P

Haven't seen you for a while.

I'm glad Jim was able to help you. Because I couldn't.  :-)

It seems personal preference might rule in addon vs subdomain names instances.  Because for me, I prefer the www.domainname.com/addon.  However, there may be a rule or something that says one is better to use over the other that I don't know about.   :-)
