Question about JVZoo
« on: December 08, 2015, 11:52:41 PM »
Hi everyone,

I have been a member of TTW for several months now and I absolutely love it. None of the other membership sites I have come across can hold a candle to it.

Here's my question...

I have purchased quite a large number of PLR products through both JVZoo and Warrior plus, not to mention the many many PLR products I have downloaded through this site. If I take a PLR product that was originally offered through JVZoo, and rebrand it, can I then turn around and sell it again through JVZoo, or do JVZoo products need to be totally new? How much rewriting of content would need to be done to the product to make it really "NEW?"

A lot of the products I have give instructions on step-by-step going through the product and changing lines here and there to rebrand it. That hardly seems like a new product to me, yet that's exactly what they are saying is all you need to do.

Now, having asked this, I want to mention that for my own sense of ethics, I would not feel right simply changing titles and names and reselling a product. I just really want to know for my own information and understanding of this whole process.

By the same token, what about things that aren't PLR, but just have resell rights? Can you turn around and make a launch of that same product on JVZoo, or are you expected to sell that product through other means, such as your own website.

Thanks for any help you can offer to my understanding of this industry.

Kat

Yes you can resell plr products on jvzoo with or without editing them first.  Editing makes them unique and you have the possibility of making more sales because of that uniqueness.

So long as you have the right to sell a product, you can sell any rr,mrr or plr product on jvzoo and most other platforms.  It's done daily on most affiliate platforms daily.

Hi Jerome,

Thank you for the quick reply. But wouldn't that mean that many of the same products would be being sold by perhaps dozens or even hundreds of people?

Yes it does.  It happens daily!  To be honest most people simply dont take action, so at most you will see the same product being sold only by a few people (less than 20) on the major affiliate platforms like JVZoo.  I'm in the process of putting up a plr product on JVZoo myself.  I've edited it, changed the title and graphics to make it fit into another project I am doing.

Most of the time it's membership site owners who will actually offer these products on their own membership sites.

Thanks Again, Jerome, I'm getting a clearer picture of how things work. I am building my site now, and I'm trying to make some major decisions, such as whether to sell my products through JVZoo, or make a store with Easy Digital Downloads, or perhaps some combination of the two. But at least now I know what the options are. I was afraid of doing something that would be frowned upon.

Regards,
Kat

If you want more sales I suggest you go with an affiliate platform such as JVZoo, W+ or Zaxaa.  Simply put affiliates will make you more money than if you are promoting your own products by yourself.

That's a very good point. But how does a newbie, virtually unknown seller get noticed enough to attract affiliates?

Simple you go to places where affiliate are.  You also need to use free and paid traffic methods to generate sales.  That way you can use your EPC earnings per click to attract affiliates.

When you say go to, do you mean go there to list your product, or does that imply some further action that gets your product noticed by the affiliates? Also, can you list your product on more than one of the sites, ie. JVZoo and Warrior plus?

I really appreciate your help, thank you

Hi Kat,

Welcome to the forum!  You could always purchase a solo email blast from one of the more well known marketers. That would give your offer a kickstart.

Thanks,
Mark

When I say go where the affiliates are, I mean go to places where affiliates hang out to promote your product launch once your product is ready for sale.  Such as facebook groups where affiliates hang out, sites like muncheye, jvpromote..etc

You can list your products as many places as you want!  if you are listing a product you have rights to sell such as rr, mrr and plr you have to abide by the rules of the license.

IF you are selling a product you created on the Warrior Forum as a Warrior Special Offer (WSO) the price on the warrior forum must be lower than any place else on the net that you would sell the product.

Welcome to the forum jcorrov.

Which product are you referring to?

If there is a salesletter for a download it will be included in the zip file.  It there isnt a salesletter in the zip file you will have to create your own or have one created for you.
