Donald, some states do not permit raffles as they consider them a form of gambling.  If I were a 501(C3) coporation, I could probably do it.  but I am not.  Takes between $500-$1,000 to become one in Florida where I am located.  There is state incorporation and then the IRS has a fee of $500 if you plan on raising more than $10,000 per year.  At least that is what it was several years ago when I looked at it.  Easier to find something else to do for raising money.

oK, I came up with my $30,000 project (but it doesn't need to bring in that much.  Just $1,500 per month will do)!  I used the missionary money to purchase one of those viral traffic ads sites.  Here's the link: www.viraladsmakemoney.com).  It's not set up yet.  It will have free options and upgrade options.  I plan on offering all RRW members a free upgrade if the software permits me to do that.  I am not setting this up myself so I don't know.  It's one of those promotions that you pay $297 and we do all the work for you type of deal.  If you are interested in joining, please let me know.  You all have a special place in my heart.

have you thought about a fundraising wso?  Here's an idea, find some internet marketers with products that will contribute to your project and sell that as a wso!  Hmmm....I wonder where you could find a group of internet marketers?    I participated in a fundraiser wso earlier this year and built a nice list from it!

Simple.  1 find internet marketers with products they would be willing to give away to help with the fund raiser AND build their list (hmm....like here!)  2 set up a wso like this one http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/655372-leukemia-charity-warrior-special-offer-top-48-products-joe-finn-jeff-boad-tony-hayes-lester-aiden-chong-anwesh.html#1 3 have the people in step 1 promote step 2.  4 Get closer to your goal, make the people in step 1 happy they are helping a great cause and building a list of people willing to buy something online.  5 Rinse and repeat IF need be!

Jerome, I visited the link and was very impressed.  However, since my fundraiser is for a religious cause, and not everyone share's similar beliefs, do you think this would work for something like this?  If it is a physical tragedy, like a deadly disease or a natural catastrophe such as superstorm Sandy, people are more willing to donate.  But if it is for a spiritual cause...maybe not.  What do you think and if I do go ahead and do this, would you be willing to be a contributor and a promoter?

Only way to know for sure is to try it!  If you get a group of internet marketers together who will supply products there will be people there to buy them!
