I've heard of Payza, but never even thought about using them. Although given their past history, previous companies and the people involved in with them, seems like this is not really surprising? With a previous "scam" history, it was probably only a matter of time. No?

Seems it wasn't that long ago that Alertpay went out, wasn't it?

Perfect example of why I won't use lesser processors. Pay Pal is not perfect, but sure more stable and reliable than these off-brand companies. Well, just my opinion. There have been so many processors to come and go over the years.

Course this is a huge reminder that you should NOT leave money in any payment processor account. Least not much.

interesting.  I was with them before they were payza and customer service was great but payza's customer service sucked!  I never did get my debit card!  I had a client who could only pay via alertpay/payza...got the money but couldnt do anything with it until I started dealing with this one online marketplace.  They accepted payza so i was paying fees with my payza account.  oh well..it was also empty anyway.

Yeah, I agree. I trust Paypal somewhat but with the other processors not so much.  But Alertpay Payza did come in handy for customers who could not get a Paypal account.  I just wonder how this will turn out with Payza ...

I am confused when people say they can't pay with Paypal. There is of course the option to pay without a PP account, link below the PP log-in box, and any credit or debt card should work in that instance. Is that not true? Seems any one should be able to use PP, long as they have a valid card.

Year or two ago I tried Google Check out, for customers that refused to use PP. I only used it  a few times, but two orders that where acknowledged by GC as good, a week later where bad, lost the funds. A week later. Unless they've changed since then, I just don't trust them. Plus seems like I've heard they no longer have phone support? It's been very helpful to call PP and talk to a person, always been helpful for me.

Totally agree. It's nice to be able to talk to a real person whenever you have an issue.

No, not all countries are supported by Paypal. Some aren't supported at all, and some have limited functionality, like users are able to pay something but aren't able to receive money on their Paypal account. Also, Paypal requires valid bank account and not all people have that. That's the main reason why people are choosing other options, like Payza.

Btw, I have no idea how you guys managed to talk to a real person in Paypal. Is that something new? I remember I needed to resolve some issues few years ago and took me ages to find any kind of phone number and even more time to get to somebody to help me.

I was referring to the pay pal option, that people don't need a PP account to pay, that link below the log-in box when you hit pay pal, to pay without a PP account. Since people can pay without a pay pal account, normal account requirements don't apply. Course how pay pal screens their payments or cards, in that instance, there might be some tough requirements. You could be right there.

I've talked to real people at Pay Pal many times, they are very helpful. I don't remember it being very difficult and some one usually answered pretty quick, least when I've called. If I remember correctly, you just go to contact to find the phone and they give you a pin to use when you call.

This made me chuckle.

There's Nickelback (an American rock band) saying that rockstars have their drug dealers on speed dial whereas successful internet marketers have paypal on speed dial
