Site Flipping Question
« on: February 16, 2009, 11:18:49 PM »
Anyone here do any website or blog flipping?

Question...I have an account with Hostmonster. It's a regular account. What's the difference between a regular account and a reseller account? Do I need the latter? or can I just build a site and host it on Hostmonster - and then sell it to someone else? Can I then transfer the site to the other person's host?

The price.  ;D ;D ;D and

A regular account treats extra domains you host as sub domains. As such there is a limit to what you can do.

Reseller accounts have cpanel for each domain, making it very more flexible and useful.

If you stay with a regular account you would probably have to transfer the domain when you flip.

With reseller hosting you have an option to charge the buyer for hosting if they do not want to host themselves.

Hope that helps

Jim

Thanks, Jim! Sounds like I'll just have to sell zipped files and transfer domains until I make enough $$$ to invest in Reseller Hosting.
