Teespring T-shirts
« on: September 20, 2013, 07:47:05 PM »
Hey, guys, I am getting involved in Teespring as a quick way to earn money online by using facebook ads.  One quick question: does anyone on the RRW forum design T-shirts?

Thanks and God bless you,
Mark

That is a great idea for sure. there are a lot of t-shirt sites  that have a designer on them.

You can find all kinds of suitable graphics for t-shirts at Graphics Factory. I've been a member there for a long time because the price is affordable and his usage rights are very liberal.  I checked and he does allow this:

Karen, I don't have the money to join at this point as I have spent too much on facebook ad programs, but I have bookmarked the site to join later.  Thank you for this very valuable resource.

God bless you, my friend,
Mark

This is the link to my first attempt at selling t-shirts:

I'm not asking anyone to buy, but if you would tell others, I would appreciate it.  So far I have only sold one and that was to myself!

God bless you,

Thanks, guys, so far I have still only sold 1 shirt and that was to myself.  the sellers of this program made it sound so easy to take money, but it isn't, even with Facebook ads!  I may have to ask for my money back!

God bless you,
Mark

I remember a few years ago David Vallieres did a video on using Cafe Press to produce teeshirts to sell on Ebay. Did try it myself but never got a design that sold in sufficient numbers to make it really worthwhile. Saying that I did notice one or two people who were selling shirts in astonishing quantities but I never could work out why the designs that were selling well were. I remember a shirt that had "lets make like" on the front and a couple of bunnies doing what bunnies do on the back that had sold over 1000 units!

Might be worthwhile looking at other sources for your shirts. My local screen printer does 1 colour on white for under £6 and doesn't charge for setup as long as you give him 300dpi artwork.

Please don't take offense, but I wonder if your design is not too targeted?  I would imagine only a particular segment of the population would be comfortable wearing a US flag with a rifle on it, and with the school shootings, not something Moms are going to buy for children?
Now, if the design had anything to do with Zombies...... :toothy12:

I agree, Zombies, Vampires, The General Undead - they'll be flying out of the store

Just think - Halloween soon
