Okay, now we're in the new year. Next holiday is Valentine's Day, Lent starts (think Shrove Tuesday pancake breakfasts) then St. Patrick's Day, April Fool's Day, Easter, maybe Spring Break. Just thinking of calendar-related reasons for a t-shirt. Is this what folks do, or find a quote they like and go for that? I'm quite interested in this, as it's free to get involved with Tee-Spring, from everything I've read.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I haven't made any money yet with Teespring because I need someone who is a t-shirt designer.  Creating the shirt doesn't cost anything, but it may take a little money to promote your shirt.  Don Wilson and a few others have mastered Teespring with FB ads.  If you can't do it yourself, find someone who can and take it from there (I am talking to myself here!).

God bless,

I'm not sure Easter is the right kind of holiday for t.shirts, but all other mentioned are. You should look for events that involve friend gathering, parties, travels and things like that. And quotes, or maybe song lyrics sound great to me, as material to fill time between two events.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a different type of service than Teespring or Skreened?

Yes, different, but still same idea...design and sell t-shirts to make a profit.  Flexibility is one of my virtues.

The beauty of TeeSpring is that they do it all: printing, collecting payments, shipping, etc. No upfront costs to the people creating and selling the shirts. And it's a kind of crowd-sourcing, so if you don't meet your target number of shirts sold, folks get "refunded." (they might not get charged to begin with, but rather give their CC info until the campaign is verified as completing it's initial funding.)

has anyone checked this out yet? http://teeprofit.com/try-it-for-7-days-for-1/

Giving it some thought since it does have a one dollar trial.  Just not sure about having the money to promote on facebook.  What good are all the designs in the world if you are unable to promote?

But this might be beneficial to someone who does have the money to promote it and score big!

God bless you,
Mark

I love Teespring.com but decided for certain reasons to set up my own Tee Shirt site.  It's not completed yet but here's the link if you'd like to check it out: :sunshine:
