Ok Ok I will make up for last week with some funnies. A doctor gave a man six months to live. The man couldn't pay his bill, so he gave him another six months. Henny Youngman Few things are more satisfying than seeing your children have teenagers of their own. Doug Larson I never married because there was no need. I have three pets at home which answer the same purpose as a husband. I have a dog which growls every morning, a parrot which swears all afternoon and a cat that comes home late at night. Marie Corelli Jim Jim, These are priceless. Thank you. I especially like the last one. Karen

This is my first "quote" in this thread. I assume we're just sharing random quotes - some funny, some informative, some inspirational, etc. Here's mine (courtesy of King Solomon)....
"A wise man will hear and will increase learning." - Proverbs 1:5a

Another week is here and I have some very welcome sunshine. The sunshine always make me feel better . Anyhow, enough of that trivia and down to my weekly selection of quotes. A genius knows how to make himself easily understood without being obvious about it. Jean Anouilh Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. Mother Teresa Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm. Winston Churchill Have a great week Jim

Hi Folks Another bashing of quotes. One fails forward toward success. Charles Kettering A bachelor is a guy who never made the same mistake once. Phyllis Diller To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity. Douglas Adams Have a great productive week. Jim

Here's a great quote from Captain James T. Kirk in the classic Trek episode "Mirror, Mirror."
"In the center of every revolution, there's one man with a vision."
The modern PC version, of course, would be...."one person with a vision." :-)

Hi Folks Are you all ready for more mind expanding quotes. Yes? Great, let's go. Happiness is that state of consciousness which proceeds from the achievement of one's values. Ayn Rand I am responsible for no one but myself. Mercedes McCambridge And above all things, never think that you're not good enough yourself. A man should never think that. My belief is that in life people will take you at your own reckoning. Isaac Asimov Have a great week. Jim

Great quotes Jim! I like this one: Happiness is that state of consciousness which proceeds from the achievement of one's values. It amazes me how often you hear someone say: "I want to find a man/woman that will make me happy."Like the quote above says, happiness comes from within. Mark

Mark Mark That quote can also be set against goals. Ones goals must be tied in to ones values, else you will not appreciate what you achieve from these goals,if you achieve them at all. Jim

I've just found a quotable quote from an Internet marketer called Charles Helfin of SEO20/20
"Your monetary reward is always directly proportionate to your contribution to humanity. Your contribution to humanity is rewarded with money."
That's certainly something to bear in mind

That is a great quote. Similar quotes abound but I do like the direct approach of that one. Jim

Mark Mark You should be proud of your Granddad. Back to earth reality wisdom! Did I actually write that last sentence? I must have done...... so you are stuck with it. :::ww Enjoy the rest of the week. Jim ps The Zig Ziglar quote was one of the quotes I was referring to with the last post from Dominic and my reply.

Hello Resell Righters (something a little different for an intro..) Spring is here. The weather getting much more pleasant. For I at least. And I'm raring to go with 3 more stunning quotes. :::ww A dream is just a dream. A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline.
