Earthquake in Chile

I don't recall offhand if any of the RRW members or RRW readers are from (or near) Chile. Or if you have friends or family members who are.

If you are, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ditto that!

We live right in the heart of TN and before any news had been announced about the quake,
my mother said she felt something in the middle of the night.

That must have been an incredibly powerful quake!

I'm not going to get religious here, just pointing out that we are in fact seeing more and more
of these powerful and tragically devastating earthquakes as time goes on. Seeing the suffering
and feeling powerless to do anything to help is not a feeling I enjoy, at all.

Since I've joined RRW though, I don't feel all alone and powerless any more. I've found a place
where I belong and am making some wonderful friendships.

But this isn't about me, it's about a call to action. We truly are like a family here and I believe
that we can all pull together when things like this happen and our synergistic efforts can make
a difference. Some are much more experienced than others but we all have our unique and valuable
talents to contribute to a group effort.

What do you say, shall we pull together and see what we can do?
