I did have an awesome day.

Since we had 4 inches of snow on Friday I wasn't sure if I would be able to leave town as planned. Saturday snow was gone, roads were clear and temps chilly. So I off I went to Des Moines (IA), 2.5 hrs away, to celebrate with my sister and my niece.  We are twins and my niece had a birthday cake with both our names on it. And a picture of a cat (we're cat lovers).  And then of course the presents and lunch.

Yeah, the weather has been crazy this spring.  Here in my area we had several days in the low 80's last week. This week we're stuck in the 50's with several nights in the low 20's. Crazy. That's ok, it will probably be 90+ next week!
