Hey donald its april 2013 I just looked at this and it was hard to find the link to the WSO Lol perhaps you shold link every instance of reference to the WSO at the top.  Problem with it is that there are a lot of bad reviews on the WSO.  Maybe change it.   but WOW how cool is that a book like that sold from within a software product with a link to the RRW as an affiliate wouild work well.  Just an idea you could hit up Jeromes software product to sell RRW.

Donald,

You should link the images to the product offering too.

Hi Donald,

Overall, I think it's a pretty good review, and if I weren't already on the lookout for more gigs of storage for my RRW riches, I'd find the product quite interesting!

The two things that came to my mind have already been brought up - $5 is a bit too low.  Maybe you could bundle it with something else and raise the price a bit?

Also, the fact that it's not the newest product wouldn't bother me, if it's still got a lot of valuable information in it.  The fact that you, personally, have found it to be valuable is big.  If you add that to the review, along with a picture of yourself, that goes a long way toward lending credibility, and definitely makes an impact on me as a potential buyer.

One more thing - if the domain has a few years of age on it - use that to your advantage.  If nothing else, you can look at selling the site on Flippa. Take a look at "Easy Flips" in the Gold section.  Andy (at least I think it's Andy) makes the point that domain age affects the price you'll get, and if you can get even a few sales, that will also increase the value.

Good Luck!

Teri

Hi Teri,

Thanks for the comments. The review was someone else's product, Profit From PLR. Rather that use an affilaite link I bought a domain similar to the original one and redirect my affiliate link to that domain. When the product first came out, 2009 I think it was a best seller at $97. The person has done similar sales with his products and was very successful with the $5 sales. He did of course use OTO etc to get sales for other stuff. I'm sure there is info there that is useful for any up and coming newbie. I still use it myself.  I see your point of adding a photo, but should it not be the photo of the owner of the product rather than the affiliate?? The link is too far down. Maybe I should have put more than one link in there. Thanks again.

Donald

P.S. There are marketers online still using this product in membership sites as a tool.

Hi Donald,

You make a good point about the photo.  I don't honestly know what the conventional wisdom is regarding an affiliate vs the product owner adding a photo.  But I think if the review is your honest opinion, and you've fully disclosed that you have an affiliate relationship, I don't see a problem.  It's sort of like going to a local store and asking the store owner for a recommendation.  I know he/she didn't actually make the item, and he stands to make a profit from the sale, and that's just fine with me.  He still has credible knowledge that can help me decide what to buy.

Donald,

All this talk of whose photo to put on your site reminded me that I needed to upload mine here.

Thanks!
