Screen Capture/Video Editing
« on: March 04, 2017, 06:29:50 AM »
Hi All,

I responded to a post below about this subject but didn't get any response, it might be because it's such an old thread.

Anyway, do we have any products within our Gold Member library for screen capture and video editing?

I have done a keyword search but I couldn't find anything and if you are successful in finding anything maybe you could share your search phrase

Thanks
Alan

The only screen capture software is:

ImageCam Software

Product Rights: Personal Use
Added on: 03/07/2014

and this one only creates gifs.  The reason I know about this one is because I remember when this product was launched.

I think you dont understand how the search feature works in the membership.  It's based on the name of the product there are no additional keywords associated with any product.  It's also based on 1 word search terms.

You already know about some free screen capture programs because you commented on  http://resell-rights-weekly.com/forum/productservicereviews/screen-capture-free/msg65238/#msg65238

Honestly I dont know of any paid screen capture software that comes with rights to allow it to be added to a membership site.

As far as video editing is concerned, I dont think there is any video editor software in the membership.  Besides both windows and macs come with video editing software.  Several of the free screen capture programs listed on http://resell-rights-weekly.com/forum/productservicereviews/screen-capture-free/msg65238/#msg65238 come with video editors.

Not sure how advanced you need Alan, but for basic work we use this all the time:

http://www.faststone.org/FSCaptureDetail.htm

$20 one time fee is great for all the software does.

Hi Jerome,

Thanks for explaining how the keyword search function works  :::tu

I did start checking out your recommended free ones and will definitely download to check out and then link up with Terry Jet to see if his recommend might be better.

To be fair I do only require a basic one but would like the ability to edit the audio to remove constant back ground noise from the microphone. You can't do anything easily about overhead planes, traffic noise etc. but you can edit general background noise.

Not too sure if you can edit audio files within the Windows/Mac software apps, maybe that level of editing is only achievable within the more expensive programs such as Camtasia or Adobe.

Many thanks for your feedback :::tu :::tu :::tu

Hi Terry,

Thanks for that  :::tu

I will check out a free one first to see if it will suffice.

Maybe we can compare notes afterwards to see if your recommend has better functionality.

Catch up soon

No problem Alan.

All depends on what you are looking to accomplish. There are many many tools out there.

For basic screen capture (image or video), adding text, editing faststone is hard to beat.
