confusing

Hi Mark
I downloaded 7_day_product_creation ebook from the free area , and the license is:
[YES] You CAN giveaway the ebook.
[YES] You CAN sell this product. Suggested price is $9-$19.
[YES] You CAN sell this product with resale rights or master resale rights.
[YES] You CAN edit the included salespage.
[YES] You CAN add this product to your membership site.
[YES] You CAN package or bundle this product with other products.

[NO] You CANNOT sell this with private lable rights.

but when you open the pdf to read the ebook , you see this note :

This is NOT a free ebook . you do NOT have the right either to sell this e-book or to give it away for free.. this book is for your own use.

normally I trust the license from outside the pdf ,( ihave no time to read inside ebook each time i want to sell)
Hope not too much ebooks with wrong license.

regards.

I have not looked at that specific download, Julian, but I'd hazard a guess that the 'license' inside the ebook is very likely the one applicable for your customers (recipients)... while the separate one 'outside' is the one that outlines YOUR rights, responsibilities and obligations.

Yes, that is exactly right.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi John
Now I am more confused.
the outside it said :
[YES] You CAN sell this product with resale rights or master resale rights.

that means I can sell the ebook with master resale right , which means also that the customer will buy the ebook he has the right to sell it too. ( correct me if I am wrong)

and if we look inside  its clear that the customer has no right to sell : ( correct me if I am wrong)
This is NOT a free ebook . you do NOT have the right either to sell this e-book or to give it away for free.. this book is for your own use.

it is like as if while you are driving you reach trafic light where the GREEN   and the RED  both are On. which one you follow ?

John is right about the author's intent for the license inside the book (meaning the license inside the book states the rules for your buyer).  Also just because the book comes with mrr rights doesnt mean you HAVE TO  sell it with those same rights.  You could sell the book with personal use rights only if you so desired.
