Morning everyone, thank you for this informative post. I’m also pretty new to this way of doing business and trying to get my head around it. For me it’s about understanding the reason behind something and then I can apply it, so I don’t understand how someone is willing to give away their rights in PLR but cares about what you do with it ie you can’t give it away for free. Why would it matter? Am I missing something? I must be?

It's because if someone just gives the product away, it devalues it. For anyone reselling the product, it will become worthless, for example, the vendor/creator who is selling the product with PLR rights and also their customers who are selling or using the products in their business.

Is this site still alive? I see products are added regularly, but there is absolutely no support or response.

I've written serval times over the last year, and when I take a look at all my tickets, not one has been answered.

Right now, I'm needing one of my support tickets answered about a $299 payment I've made but no one has responded back. Need help!

You're welcome ckoch. It's not much of an effort. I've been using Photoshop way back since 2003, so it doesn't take me long to whip up something like this :) I'll think I post more up in the future for top products that don't come with covers.

Which is the reason why I said Charlinda needs unrestricted plr or have product creation outsourced.

You'll need to look at the license of the particular product you're interested in and see if it has some/or at least the following guidelines within it:

[YES]Can modify/change the main product
[YES]Can be rebranded
[YES]Can put your name on it
[YES]Can be given away for free
[YES]Can convey and give away Private Label Rights

This is something on those lines. I hope this has helped.

Absolutely. I thought I'll give an eye view of some license rights. As sometimes unrestricted it not so unrestricted, and some licenses can be very bleak. And yes, outsourcing the work is the best thing to do, but also have to make sure the freelancer or whoever it is, allows one to have commercial use.

Hi Kelly, I just tested, it seems to work fine. I've got them uploaded to my Amazons3 account. Have another go at trying to download them. If you cannot download them, I'll upload them to my server and create a new link.

Hi all... I created a set of unique covers for the new product called Vidinci that was released here at RRW the other day. This product is great to sell, but the only downfall for a reseller is, that it's got no covers. I know personally that products sell better when they have a great cover. So I went out of my way to create a set of covers free for the taken... to help all you resellers out there :)

I'm not really referring to any specific product, but I'm trying to understand what I can and can't do with the different products.

Master Resell Rights License
[YES] Can be sold
[YES] Can sell Resale Rights
[YES] Can sell Master Resale Rights
[YES] Can be packaged
[YES] Can be added to a paid membership
[YES] Can be added to a free membership
[YES] Can be offered as a bonus
[NO] Can sell Private Label Rights
[NO] Can be given away

Let's say my example: I'm only confused with the last line where it says [NO] can be given away.

I mean can i offer it as my free pdf download for opt in subscribers?
Or when it says [GIVEN AWAY], they are referring to the rights to the product?

With licenses you find attached to each product you will see if it states this. The following is another license I see from time-to-time:

Master Resell Rights Terms and Conditions

[YES]Can be sold
[YES]Can be used for personal use
[YES]Can be packaged with other products
[YES]Can modify/change the sales letter
[YES]Can be added into paid membership websites
[YES]Can put your name on the sales letter
[YES]Can be offered as a bonus
[YES]Can be used to build a list
[YES]Can print/publish offline
[YES]Can convey and sell Personal Use Rights
[YES]Can convey and sell Resale Rights
[YES]Can convey and sell Master Resale Rights

[NO]Can be given away for free
[NO]Can modify/change the main product
[NO]Can convey and sell Private Label Rights

With this particular license you cannot give this product away freely, but you can give it away via an opt-in list or as a bonus.

[YES]Can be offered as a bonus
[YES]Can be used to build a list
[NO]Can be given away for free

I went to your website about cats and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading some articles you wrote. I really like the one about 'redirecting kitty thinking".
