Sorry, I am at it again.... trying to avoid litigation's arising from not fully understanding licenses and the terminology used in drafting them.

In book folder, I saw the following in the licence file:

Yes can be sold
Yes can sell resale rights or master resell rights
You can add the product into your product bundle or package
Yes can be added to a paid membership site
You CAN give the product away for FREE

You CANNOT offer the product as a bonus to another product you are selling. However, you can offer other bonuses to this product when selling
You CANNOT sell the product on auction sites such as eBay.com
You CANNOT use nor sell this product in a dime sale event, under any circumstances at all. An event that constitutes a dime sale is one whereby the product starts selling at a very low price and increases every dime after a certain time frame or with every purchase using the dime sale script

QUESTION 1:
Is this a PLR license?
Does it give me the right to edit the cover and contents?

In other folders, I saw some license files labelled as

License.txt
MRR.txt
RellRights.txt

I understand the last two. They are very direct, but the first one "License.txt" is the one that houses the above licence content I highlighted above.

QUESTION:
Is that how PLR licence files are labelled?

I have read some of your documentations on this issue and all still point to source files being present. I still feel this is not enough to point people to what is PLR, MRR and RR licences. There should be a definitive and professional way (something programmers call "fool proof" system) of describing and naming licenses so that from a direct view of the file name, one would know first hand what license it contains.

Thanks once again for your patience and time to read this voluminous words
Awaiting speedy response

Thanks a lot for your swift reply.

Please still bear in mind I am just some hours old here and have some catching up to do. So with that said, just a quickie:

Can you in simple terms describe a product that offers you a PLR. I know you said the source files won't be included, is that the case for all?

Secondly, some of the products I have seen don't spell it out directly that you have PLR, so how do I decode this from the license file attached.

Thirdly, I don't want to showcase any eBook cover on my site in 3D format. I am using the amazon style where the book cover is flat (front end facing you) and able to pick up all the book details.

Most of the book cover here are in 3D, how do I change that to suit my site layout purpose? Does MRR and RR affect this also even though I do not intend to edit the book content? Any recommendation on any resource tool to use?

A lot of questions.... So sorry but..

Thanks for your patience and swift answer.

Hi, I am new here and love everything.

I am looking to launch an eBook sale site. I was hoping to get products here. I have seen a lot, but I have a small problem:

Most of the products - ebooks don't have authors name on the book cover or about the author page. The standard is that books being sold should have the authors name boldly written on the cover.

Now how do I go about reselling those books without the authors name written on the cover. Am I permitted to redesign the cover by adding a pen name to it?

This is what has being keeping me from deciding on using the products. Is there a work around this?

Thanks in advance!
