Product/Service Reviews / Squeeze Page Review Request
« on: March 18, 2015, 08:45:03 PM »
Hi guys and gals,

I was hoping I could get some feedback on a squeeze page I'm working on.

This is for an offline business that I own. I'm really trying to separate myself from my competition (none of whom have a clue about the online world - they all use a shotgun approach).

http://ottawahvacguy.com/lennox-slp98v-modulating-furnace-free-quote/

What would you change if it was yours? Do you have any earth-shattering ideas that I haven't thought of (except video - that's in the works)?

Thanks very much in advance,

Cheers,

Ron

Thanks.

Off Topic Forum / Warrior Forum
« on: February 01, 2015, 06:38:17 PM »
 Hi everyone,

I've spent a few weeks poking around Warrior Forum. Has anyone seen any true benefit from it? I've found it to be (I think at least) a complete waste of my time. I was a member/lurker wayyyyy back in the day - 98 or 99 - think it was more of the same back then if I remember correctly.

There are some old-time hacks over there that seem to only want to feed their ego and treat everyone else like crap (Alexa Smith is a perfect example. 27000+ posts - clearly no life outside of WF).

Any thoughts? Different experiences?

I just feel like I'm watching a bunch of little kids fight.  :shocked2:

It could be it's more trouble than it's worth Mark? That's a crap load of products.  :help:

There's likely a bunch of them already listed here.

Just thought I'd throw it out here.

Technical Assistance / I need a Favor
« on: December 24, 2014, 01:27:58 PM »
Could sommeone do me a favor?

Go to http://webincomepro.com/home-sweet-home/

then go to http://webincomepro.com/home-sweet-home/?pmch=warrior

Do you get an error at the top of the page?

If not which payment button do you see for each?

If you go to http://webincomepro.com/home-sweet-home/?pmch=jvzoo after all that what payment button do you see?

There's a method to my madness.

Thanks to all that take a peek at this for me. :)

Cheers,

Ron

Marketing Talk / Taking a Step Back
« on: December 23, 2014, 03:47:15 PM »
Hi everyone,

I was hoping to get some opinions and tips as well.

I've been plugging my site full of content for the last 3 weeks and I'm now refocusing.

Truth is, the paid products I've been putting up are using the sales page that came with them. I was focusing on volume.

Now it's time to go back and rewrite and redesign those sales pages.

Here's an example. Very basic product offered as part of the Gold level.

This is what it looks like stock:

http://webincomepro.com/home_sweet_home/

This is my attempt at a redesign:

http://webincomepro.com/home-sweet-home/

I'm having some cookie issues so please let me know if you see anything strange (headers already sent errors is what I'm fighting with right now - grrrrrrr).

In your experiences, is this the right direction to be going? I've got a ton of sales pages to change but I'd like to think it's worth it.

If anyone wants to know, I've hunted for the perfect combination of tools to make this easy (for me - YMMV).

I use:

Wordpress (of course)
PT Instant (not great but has some cool features that work for me)
Call to Action Pro (WICKED cool plugin to make the fancy stuff - basically anything that moves on that page)
WP Mass Exposure (available here in the Gold - this is the bear that's giving me trouble with my payment buttons).

Thanks for any and all responses.

Merry Christmas everyone,  8)ss

Has anyone tried this?  :shocked2:

http://calltoactionpro.com/special-offer/

It looks like it makes some wicked landing pages.

It would be cool if it was added here (even with Personal Use rights) but I'll likely buy it myself if it isn't. :)

Marketing Talk / Affiliate Tracker Plugin
« on: December 17, 2014, 06:52:06 AM »
Hi all,

I'm using both jvzoo and clickbank now.

Somewhere (I think in one of the Personal Use Only products) a saw a reference to a plugin that could differentiate between traffic that came from CB or zvzoo and add the appropriate payment button. This way affiliates get paid for all products purchased originating from their referral.

Does anyone know what I'm referring to? I can't locate it.  ;;:B

It would be a lifesaver to find this.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers,

Ron

Product/Service Reviews / JVZoo Frustrations
« on: December 14, 2014, 07:22:59 PM »
Hi all,

Just had to vent somewhere so figured I'd do it here.  ;;:B

I've added a lot of products to JVZoo so far. I see good things coming down the road with this (as well as ClickBank).

The rant:

Why do people (obviously getting products from here) insist on pricing things so low? I've seen lots of members post stuff for $2.97 when it should go for 10x+ that.

Do they not understand that's they're selling to affiliates?

Do they not realize that afiliates don't want to make 50% of $2.97.

Why not price higher?

/rant

Thanks for reading.....   :::tu

Feedback Requests / Time for some Comments on my Site Please
« on: December 11, 2014, 08:31:27 PM »
Hi everyone,

My site is coming along and I thought I'd see if anyone here would be kind enough to give me some feedback.

A few notes....

1) This is merely the beginning. I know I have a long way to go.

2) I decided to go with ZVZoo after all. 5% for payment processing AND potential affiliates is a steal in my opinion. I rushed to judgement the first time I looked at it.

I thank you all for any and all feedback you can give.

Cheers,

Ron

Mastering PLR & MRR Products / Proper Positioning of Products?
« on: December 05, 2014, 09:52:43 PM »
Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far. I'm starting to get the hang of things.

I'm trying to decide how I should present offers to my visitors.

I have the following all on the same topic:

- Blog post(s)
- 52 week email course
- Free Report
- Paid Product

I've started by putting a link to the paid report on the blog post. Now I'm wondering if that works or not.

I'm thinking:

- Blog post linked to
- Free report AND/OR free 52 week course (if one where does the other fit in?) linked to
- Paid product

I understand the 52 week course gives me lots of opportunity to sell. Or should I be selling the 52 week course as well?

Does anyone have any thoughts on how they would handle it?

Cheers,

Ron

Mastering PLR & MRR Products / Sales Pages vs Wordpress Pages
« on: December 04, 2014, 11:34:00 AM »
Hi everyone,

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one but I thought I'd look for some insights here.

I really like using wordpress. I much prefer posting within Wordpress rather than making landing pages (I have several WP plugins that make this easier).

Is there a huge response difference between the two? Is having a clean sales page without the header, etc a big advantage?

My site is purposely designed with a light header, no columns and a simple footer.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Ron

Marketing Talk / Fiverr?
« on: November 30, 2014, 02:19:15 PM »
Has anyone had any real success with Fiverr?

I'm looking specifically at this offer:

https://www.fiverr.com/eddycloyd/drive-unlimited-real-traffic-to-your-website

I'm just starting out here so I'm trying to get subscribers to a free 12 day course I found in the gold downloads that I also added an upsell to (via PowerOffers and ads in the autoresponder messages).

It's almost silly to ask since it's a whopping $5 but I thought I'd get some opinions on Fiverr here first to help with my learning curve.  :help:

Product/Service Reviews / MailChimp vs GetResponse vs WP Newletter
« on: November 25, 2014, 06:32:18 PM »
Hi all,

I'm just starting out here (very familiar with marketing/sales both online and off - just not this type) and I'm looking for the best newsletter solution.

I like the look and feel of MailChimp. GetResponse looks professional. The WP Newsletter looks good for a self-hosted solution - https://wordpress.org/plugins/newsletter/

I'm not the least bit hesitant about spending money - hundreds, thousands, whatever - as long as there's a RIO over the horizon of course.

Can some of you please give me some reasons for and against the above. FYI....I've lookad at ZVZoo and I'm really not interested in going that direction - I prefer self-hosting everything.

Thanks to all...

Cheers,

Ron
