Hello, fellow members ----
My newest site - and my most serious one - is
www.JusticeWatchofAmerica.com. Here's a look at my new logo:

The front page of the site states its purpose. And it will be a very serious site. So, I want to, finally, do everything the proper way including (maybe most of all) handling images properly.
If you look over the home page, you'll see an attribution, or image credit, for anything that might even possibly require it. For a while, I've bootlegged some pics for various uses. No more. I don't want to lose what might be a lifesaving site to a DMCA or copyright claim...something that might have a court case and fines attached.
As part of my new legal-image-use effort, I did pick up a recent offer to license 5,000 royalty-free stock photos for personal use for under $10.
I do have attribution details for the logo which I will add forthwith and reload onto the site. So, I just want to caution anybody against bootlegging images as I used to do. And, for goodness sakes, don't even think about using any Getty image without a license. Those guys seem like rabid mad dogs when it comes to going after people for unauthorized use.
Just my 2 cents. - MM
