Off Topic Forum / Supporting Citizen's Rights re: Police
« on: January 13, 2018, 01:18:25 AM »
Just an FYI, I have been involved in fighting for the rights of "The People" in the constitutional sense. There are a bunch of brave "auditors" who take to the streets to film cops in public. Cops don't like it much. I also work to educate police agencies in my area about citizen's rights while supporting the safety of law enforcement.

This is a handout piece I put together for my use and for the auditors around the country as support for their activities. Thought my friends here might also find it interesting. Here's the link:

Marketing Talk / Image Hosting with HotLinks
« on: December 26, 2017, 01:35:28 PM »
Hello, fellow members---

Since Photobucket changed from a free site to $399 a year, I've been looking for a way to host and hotlink images.

I use Google Drive for images and couldn't figure out how to hotlink those images for use on websites, ads, etc. Then I discovered this YouTube video instructing exactly how to to do. Tried it this AM and worked like a charm. Here's the video link -

Would also love to hear your ideas on this. Cheers! - MM

Thanks to Mark Butts for the tip on He posted an example that I thought was just too cool. So I joined the site and paid for a one-year personal plan (total of about $8). Here's an example of an intro to a full video.

Marketing Talk / All About Video Marketing
« on: October 02, 2017, 12:40:20 AM »
What are the best ways to create an excellent video?

Here's one of my recent examples:

(Please copy and paste to view).

For this video, I used a combination of screen capture (Screen-Cast-o-Matic --- free), Open Office Presentation for the stills (free), and blended the pieces using Window Microsoft Movie Maker (free).

The transitions were created in the Movie Maker program.

Now, what tools are you using that could improve this effort? What tools do you find most helpful? Mark Butts had a very cool animation for his name...what was used to create that?

Any and all ideas are welcome. Please contribute. Thanks - MM

Mastering PLR & MRR Products / Why I Generally Prefer PLR Rights
« on: July 06, 2017, 12:55:34 PM »
Resale rights don't allow for any editing of the product. This can be problematic. I purchased PLR rights for a highly promoted product by a seller who regularly sells PLR products - seemingly very reputable.

This is a product in the membership area with RR. Take a look at the table of contents for this product and see if you can spot the glaring errors (which, of course) are repeated throughout the product). Here's a link to that page ---

Marketing Talk / Your eCover Program in Gold Downloads
« on: May 11, 2017, 04:16:10 PM »
Hello y'all -

You know, we all get so many wonderful tools, programs, and downloads in the Gold membership, it truly is a embarrassment of riches! While it might be hard for all of us to keep track, I wanted to put this on your radar in case you missed it.

We have - in the Gold Membership downloads - access to a e-cover creator software. Here's a few example of eCovers created with this program -

I could have also done a DVD-style image.

I finally figured out how to make these images smaller using a free online editor:

And then stored the images for retrieval in on a free site online:

While my design work may not be the best in the world, I like it. And, IMO, the images make it easier to "sell" a publication or product. The eCover image is also how I start every writing project. It reminds me of the overall theme of the piece and kind of helps me get my thoughts in order.

Not looking for compliments...just wanted to remind you of a great program already available in our Gold Membership that can really help you out.

Love and peace - MM

Marketing Talk / New Logo And A Serious Warning
« on: May 04, 2017, 07:23:05 PM »
Hello, fellow members ----

My newest site - and my most serious one - is Here's a look at my new logo:

The front page of the site states its purpose. And it will be a very serious site. So, I want to, finally, do everything the proper way including (maybe most of all) handling images properly.

If you look over the home page, you'll see an attribution, or image credit, for anything that might even possibly require it. For a while, I've bootlegged some pics for various uses. No more. I don't want to lose what might be a lifesaving site to a DMCA or copyright claim...something that might have a court case and fines attached.

As part of my new legal-image-use effort, I did pick up a recent offer to license 5,000 royalty-free stock photos for personal use for under $10.

I do have attribution details for the logo which I will add forthwith and reload onto the site. So, I just want to caution anybody against bootlegging images as I used to do. And, for goodness sakes, don't even think about using any Getty image without a license. Those guys seem like rabid mad dogs when it comes to going after people for unauthorized use.

Just my 2 cents. - MM
