Marketing Talk / Re: Too Much Of A Good Thing?
« on: April 28, 2013, 05:21:30 AM »
I couldn't agree with you more. Too much of a good thing is also a bad thing, also when it comes to these things, it can look very spammy very fast. It's much better to keep it down a notch.

Went a bit off topic here I can see. :) But it's all good. I think it's still some good information, the idea of locking the incorrect logins is actually genius. It gives those bots a little bit more trouble than usual. I would still prefer to give them moderation until they make such a number of posts.

That is unbelievable. The things people nowadays are able to do with the technology is amazing but also a bit frightening. You just don't know what is going to hit you next. It keeps you on your heels though.

Good looking out!

Definitely set up everything first before proceeding to go about your other strategies. Complete your social media pages and everything else that you need then proceed to optimize them. Then work on your natural SEO so that you can earn natural traffic from the search engines.

Marketing Talk / Re: Is paid traffic targeted traffic?

Not all the time. Paid traffic is decent traffic, there's a good chance that you'll convert some of them, but there are no guarantees.

I never wanted to use the process before and I don't now, I think it's a waste of money. I'd rather spend that money outsourcing SEO for more organic traffic because those are with the highest conversion rates.

I do believe that hostgator offers that particular feature to their customers. I think you just have to change your plan and upgrade it or something like that.

I hope you find it soon! Good luck!

Marketing Talk / Re: WHY did I want to make money at home online?

This is amazing.

Sometimes we just have to take the leap of faith and hope that we have what it takes to get the job done and also do what we have and what we can to make that happen.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Mastering PLR & MRR Products / Re: I need your help in planning this
« on: March 09, 2013, 04:49:02 AM »
I don't think there's a particular tool that can help you out with this problem. The only solution is within you, you have to get your system organized. It starts with the little files, always put things in the right places, it may take a few extra minutes for every single bit but it beats having to dig through a bunch of files looking for something.

Being organized really helps productivity. And it starts with the whole system.

Product Requests / Re: List Building Videos

It looks fascinating! Oh, I'm definitely going to try that.

You guys know how hard it is to make a nice quality list.

It's just basically uploading content to the wiki site, but the thing is that you can't just keep uploading things on there without triggering their spam filter and google's. It's a nice way to get backlinks though as these sites are equipped with a good ranking.

Nice catch I would say, you will rarely find a site that clean these days because of all the things that are going on. Anyway, welcome to the forum! I hope you have a nice stay here.

Marketing Talk / Re: How to sell a physical product?
« on: February 18, 2013, 03:09:10 AM »
You can start with forum marketing. There's a lot of potential over there because of the sizes of the networks available. to advertise in. That's a good start, secondly you can go to social networking sites mainly facebook and twitter, advertise there as well because most of the people who are on there will most likely be interested in your products as well.

Marketing Talk / Re: Great list of traffic sources
« on: February 18, 2013, 03:04:16 AM »
Nice but for people that don't know, relevancy is the best way to get targeted traffic. You try marketing your content through guest posting to relevant blogs, that will surely get some high quality traffic going back to your site. A lot of people still go through it all because it's worth the trouble.

I would advise you not to push through with it if you're planning to get some for your site. I would say that it is not worth a penny, it might produce some results but any artificial traffic is not organic traffic the rate of converting them is relatively low compared to doing it through natural SEO and SMO.

Marketing Talk / Re: Longtail domain experiment
« on: February 10, 2013, 11:21:19 PM »
I believe I heard someone say before that longtail domains do work up to a certain extent but he also advised to not put the name in the domain because it gets penalized by Google for over-using it. Something like that. But I would love to hear more about your thoughts.
