Technical Assistance / Re: Masking An Affiliate Link With A Domain Name
« on: February 24, 2016, 12:18:59 AM »
Thanks for the feedback Jerome.  I just registered a domain
and forwarded it to the affiliate url with a mask so you only
see the registered domain in the web browsers address bar
and not the affiliate url with my id.  Tested in the order form
and my affiliate id was there to get credit.

Technical Assistance / Masking An Affiliate Link With A Domain Name
« on: February 22, 2016, 02:00:00 PM »
Would like to purchase a Domain Name that will redirect
to an affiliate link, because I don't want to see the affiliate link
with my ID in the browser when someone clicks on the
Domain so would like to mask which would eliminate this
from happening.  When the domain is clicked on, that's
what you'll see in the browser and not the redirect link
showing the affiliate link.

Question:  If the affiliate product that I'm promoting is
ordered by a customer, will the company still be able to
see my affiliate link to get credit and commission.

Look forward to your helpful response(s)

Thanks for the feedback MagicMan.  The link for wordpress
was just what I was looking for.  I've attached jpg images
before which is similar to adding the pdf files.  Also went
on utube and found some instructional videos that was
also helpful.

Excellent article.  I just started using a paid blog that includes a registered domain and paid hosting which is very reasonable.  Anyone starting out, go with the WP Freebie to practice before upgrading to a paid hosting and domain name.  Don't make the mistake that I made when first starting out with a WP Freebie that has restrictions such as not putting url links that redirect to a commercial site.  You can get banned, but WP will be nice to inform you about upgrading to a paid host and save the content that was posted on the freebie WP site.

New Member Here Seeking Assistance from all the friendly members here.

Question:  Would like to start adding PDF files to my blog for readers to either
click on a link to download or click on a link to read.  Don't think this is a difficult
task to accomplish, but not sure, so your assistance sure would be appreciated.
