I'll look at affiliate marketing. Maybe that's something I can do later, after I figure this out

I don't want to have a membership site in order to purchase the laptop. Im getting the laptop within the next few days. I just didn't want to buy a membership script, when I'm going to spend a good deal of money on the laptop.  So I figured, the way they described setting up a membership site in the membernaire (I think that's what it's called), seemed like an inexpensive way to do it.  I just can't figure out how to do everything that way.

Hi Jerome.  I did look at the Membership authority gold and it was very helpful.  I was kind of looking for help with creating a fixed term membership site that's referred to in Membernaire (in the Internet Marketing Black Belt section).  That document does give step by step instructions on how to set it up, but I just can't connect all the pieces in my head.  Like what am I uploading the download page, capture page and content to?  And a few other questions.

Here's what i wasn't saying.  I need to buy a new laptop .  And I figured if I set up an autoresponder membership site (because I want people to sign up for a 12 month course), which I've been calling a fixed term membership (maybe that's not the right terminology), it would be the cheapest way to go, as opposed to spending a couple hundred dollars on a membership script with unlimited site usage.  Basically, I don't want to buy a script and a laptop.

Here are the features I'd like to have with my membership: Drip feeding (extremely important) and option to add affiliates are important, content protection, payment options use and unlimited membership levels.

Or do you think it's better to go with a script as opposed to the way I wanted to set up the membership site?

Thanks again for  your help.

C

Technical Assistance / Fixed Term Membership
« on: July 22, 2016, 11:04:57 AM »
I want to start a fixed term membership, but feel a little stuck, lol.  I'd eventually like to have several so it's really important that I do it on my own and not have someone do it for me.  However, if I can't figure it out I will be happy to pay someone.  As far as I understand I won't need any type of membership scripts for this.  So here's one of the things I am confused on: Am I just cutting and pasting my lesson in the autoresponder or are the people that sign up for my course supposed to get a pdf version of the lesson to their email?  And if so, how do i get the pdf to them? And then my next question is am I cutting and pasting the welcome email, capture page and download page?  Please don't judge me, cthu.  I know i sound like a nut. :)
I am going to  have more questions so that I can connect the dots, I just can't think of them at this time.

Thanks for any help you can provide me.  i really appreciate it.

C.
