Marketing Talk / Re: Blogging as Profession
« on: July 03, 2013, 10:39:07 PM »
Hello all,

With regards, I want to asking you a question that, Can I choose my profession as blogger? Can this is beneficial? I am writing articles for 5 years and lots of site developed by my articles. So now I wanna to starting new article business professionally. What do you think? Any advice or suggestion would be appreciated. Thank in advance. Have a nice day !!!

Kashfiya !!!  8)9

Hi! Well that's a pretty decent experience already. I am sue that five years have already molded you into a professional writer/blogger. However, try to discern yourself. You know that blogging would involve a lot of competitions. You have to be ready for that. You also have to consider the time and money involve. As what erwin have said, if you want to be a blogger, it would be better if you treat it as your passion because on times where you are not getting any money from it, you won't get exhausted since it is your passion anyway.

Marketing Talk / Re: Afraid to pull the trigger

Hi Mark!

Well as everybody else have said, this is just normal. We all go through this process. We think that we have the perfect plan but afraid to take that one brave step to make it happen because we are afraid of the unknown, what could happen or if nothing happens. Well as you have said, you feel that you have the perfect plan, well then you should trust yourself! Imagine, how would people (potential customers) trust you if you don't even trust yourself?

Be adventurous but under control! Good luck mate!  :::tu

Marketing Talk / Re: How long did it take?

Hey Val

According to your New Member Introduction post; you've been in the I.M. industry for 2 years - how long did it take you to achieve those 2 milestones of 'first sale' and 'consistent sales'?

Well my 1st sale was I think after a month or two. I can't exactly remember because it is not really a big transaction. I've been in IM for two years now but I still hasn't been able to experience consistent sales (daily sales). The most that I could sell is 2-4 products a week.

Marketing Talk / How long did it take?
« on: July 02, 2013, 07:02:53 AM »
We are from different places and we are different people but I know that we are all here because we all wanted to learn and to share what we know about Internet Marketing. Some of us have already established themselves in IM, some are still struggling but I think most of us are still in the knowing of how this works and still wasn't able to take that 1 courageous step into the IM world.

So to those who are already veteran in this field, I would like you to share how long did it take for you to get your first sale? Furthermore, how long did it take for you to experience consistent sales?

We will be happy to know! :)

Off Topic Forum / Re: If you have a healthly Back
« on: June 29, 2013, 01:42:04 PM »
If you have a healthly body protect it.  As when I was young and dumb I did some real dumb stuff and I am paying for it. I bent down a couple days ago and my back went and I can not hardy move that includes it hurts to even breath. I am so much pain I can not sleep. Can not take enough med to make the pain go away liveing on heat and ice and very little help. Having to lay down most of the time as no choice. Usually after one day it clams down and goes away but on day 4 and hurts as much as day one. So Take care of your body and it will take care of you. Do not be like me.

Isn't it osteoporosis? I guess that it's best to take a professional look at it because the pain would not go away. It'll come and go and it's gonna be a cycle. A string pain killer could be your friend but it has also disastrous side effects in the long run. I'm suspecting you have compression fractures in your lumbar vertebra or something. I feel bad for you mate.

New Member Intros / Someone New!
« on: June 29, 2013, 01:35:11 PM »
Hello guys! So obviously I am someone new in this forum but not to marketing. It has been almost two years since I first started my journey in IM. I can't say that I am already an expert in this field but I could say that I have already gained much experience. However I believe that being in this kind of forum will bring in new experiences and learning that I could use to further enhance my skill in IM.

I really hope to learn from you guys and also to share what I have learned in my IM journey!

Cheers to all!

+1 for GoDaddy! They always have the best deals on .com and .net domains IMO. I have bough two domains from them the last three months for $5!  ;)

Marketing Talk / Re: How to sell a physical product?
« on: June 29, 2013, 01:28:07 PM »
In selling physical products, it is always advisable to target your potential customers. In this case, I would suggest you to consider marketing your products in forums. The job is simple, find a forum that is related to tablets (Apple, Windows, Android) which has a high PR (I suppose you already know what is PR and how to check PR of a specific site). Then you just have to build some good reputation to this forum by answering some questions of other members and sharing some good points as well. 99.9% of the time, there will be members in these kind of forums asking where to buy this and that (Ipad case, stand, smart cover, etc) so you have to gran this chance. Don;t worry about getting banned from that forum. Usually, forum mods would not ban members who already have built a good reputation on that forum. A month or two of active participation could already give you a good reputation.

Goodluck!  :dollar:

Marketing Talk / Re: Guest Blogging

Bookmarked! Wow this is the first post that I read in this forum (yes I'm a new member here) and I think it's the perfect post that I need. Obviously this post is something that should be considered to increase traffic to our blog. I have also been doing guest blogging for some time now and the choice of site where you post is really a determinant factor whether you're gonna get traffic or not. Those sites listed above are really good ones to get some traffic.

Thanks!
