Product/Service Reviews / Re: MailChimp vs GetResponse vs WP Newletter
« on: February 18, 2015, 10:06:13 AM »
At the end of the day they can nuke your account for any reason or no reason at all. I chose to simply not use them. I didn't give it nearly as much thought as you just did.  ;;:B

Too many in the IM niche have had their Mailmonkey lists vaporized (a lot with no backups) and watched their income tank. They've made it clear that they want nothing to do with IM.

GR and AW (Aweber is especially IM friendly) are the best options.

If you're in the Internet Marketing space avoid Mailchimp. They are notorious for shutting down IM accounts.

All the big boys will work with JVZoo (including Aweber).

My issue with GR was a service/technical one. They failed and I jumped to AW. It was the right move for me. They have a $1 for the first month deal.

Either GR or AW will do the trick for most.

Get Response is garbage compared to Aweber. I've had both and I use Aweber exclusively now.

Well, it's clear that his writing is not very good. I'm still confused what it's even about.  :help:

Looks sketchy to me at best. Just my opinion of course.  ::P

I think I'm avoiding this one. Looks like too much drama.

Questions About Latest Products / Re: Software The New Fad?

I've looked at some of them and find that they're not very good. The software component of it is just unnecessary and useless in my opinion.

Do you really want to trust your list to a free service? What happens when (and they will) shut it down?

You don't get a do-over since the reputable providers out there (Aweber) won't let you import your list when you decide to move (if this free service even lets you export).

If you can't afford to pay $20 or $30 or $50/month for an autoresponder then is it even a business?

Too bad they don't have an "ignore" feature. I can think of a dozen that would be on that list pronto.  ;;:B

 Hi everyone,

I've spent a few weeks poking around Warrior Forum. Has anyone seen any true benefit from it? I've found it to be (I think at least) a complete waste of my time. I was a member/lurker wayyyyy back in the day - 98 or 99 - think it was more of the same back then if I remember correctly.

There are some old-time hacks over there that seem to only want to feed their ego and treat everyone else like crap (Alexa Smith is a perfect example. 27000+ posts - clearly no life outside of WF).

Any thoughts? Different experiences?

I just feel like I'm watching a bunch of little kids fight.  :shocked2:

I have a bigger stock photo library than all of them combined.

It's called Google image search.

And nobody bother saying that's copyright this and blah, blah, bah that. We've all done it.  o::)

Yeah...after looking at it a little closer I get the same feeling.

I think just from the sheer amount of work it would take to sort through them it likely wouldn't be worth it.

Mark may have different ideas though.

Not sure if this is something that would be of interest to anyone.....

http://netactivated.com/plr-avalanche/

It could be it's more trouble than it's worth Mark? That's a crap load of products.  :help:

There's likely a bunch of them already listed here.

Just thought I'd throw it out here.

I thought this was some new software product....

...then I realized it's just Powerpoint templates.  *duh*

Looks like Mark could add them though.

Just to add to Jerome's excellent post....

A RRW membership doesn't mean you're going to get everything out there with private label or even giveaway rights. For every product that is added Mark has to be able to add it to a paid membership site per the license agreement.

Mark spends a lot of pesos for us all. Sometimes you just have to buy something you really, really want.  :sunshine:
