Kwanzaa Seven Principles

The Kwanzaa holiday was created to introduce and reinforce seven principles which were viewed as core value systems for healthy and thriving families, stable and loving and caring relationships, effective parenting practices, school achievement, and non violent, safe and productive communities. Thus, the seven days of the Kwanzaa holiday is organized around the seven principles of Kwanzaa: Unity, Self-determination, Collective Work and Responsibility, Shared Wealth, Purpose, Creativity and Faith.

Today is the first of the 7 days of Kwanzaa!  Today's Principle is Umoja (Unity):

Umoja principle instructs that each member of the family and by extension the community is constituted by a web of interpersonal relationships. The health and possibilities of the family and community, therefore, is dependent upon the quality of relationship within the family and community.

Note:  This information comes from the Kwanzaa Guide.

Hey RRW Family!
Recently I had to send a message to Mark because I found a site that using a branded RRW product in an illegal manner.  Why anyone would do this is beyond me.  I reviewed the material.  On page 2 it says:

NOTICE: You Do NOT Have the Right to Reprint or Resell this Report!

You Also MAY NOT Give Away, Sell or Share the Content Herein

In other words...this is personal use only rights material!  Yet this person was freely violating this rule.

This reminds me of the thread about personal use rights personal rights mean you and only you have access to the material.  Which means you cant put it on any website...even if its only for you to look at.  Remember sites can and do get indexed by google!

Regardless of the reason why...ignorance is NOT a just starts a whole set of questions, but the most important one "What else is this person doing illegally with Mark's or anyone else's stuff?"

By illegally sharing this product he isnt just giving himself a bad name...he's also giving Mark a bad name (the product is branded with RRW information on it).    How?  Because of the appearance of Mark being in league with this license abuser.  We all know Mark is innocent but appearances are important!  Don't believe me? How many reputation management or reputation repair products are there in the membership?

Needless to say I walk the path of obeying product creator's licenses (I'm a product creator myself) and I help Mark out when it looks like a license isnt being used properly or if I simply have a question about a license.  When in doubt..asked someone.

For the person who is violating Mark's products...I hope you read this and do the right thing.

Which path do you walk?

Technical Assistance / Windows 10 Quirks
« on: November 11, 2015, 10:53:12 AM »
I've had Win X for a few months now and some of its bugs are starting to show.  I have a graphics programs that I use daily and I like to add some spice to things by using fonts other than those preinstalled on my computer.  In order to install a new font on a windows 10 system you have to have the windows firewall enabled.  I know it sounds crazy but when I tried to install a font it would say the font wasnt valid, once I turned windows firewall on I could install the font with no problem.  I tried to install Xmind the mind mapping software and kept getting error messages.  Turned on windows firewall and the installation was flawless!

I use another antivirus program that comes with a firewall, which is the reason I turned off Windows firewall in the first place, so when it comes to installing certain things I will turn on windows firewall and once the installation is complete I will turn it back off!  Which reminds me, I need to go turn that firewall off right now!

Marketing Talk / Major changes at JVZoo
« on: April 13, 2015, 10:19:53 AM »
In the past month or so JVZoo has been going through some growing pains.

First, Facebook has now banned jvzoo links.  Even if you use a redirect! :shocked2:  This is for a couple of reasons from what I have been able to find out:

1 The safe browser tool WOT (web of trust) has given JVZoo site a poor trustworthiness score and declared it a scam for some bizarre reason.  You can read Bryan Zimmerman's (Co Founder of JVZoo) concerns about it here

2 Because of the issue with WOT, Facebook is declaring all jvzoo links spam.   *duh* Technically you arent supposed to be promoting affiliate links from a personal profile (its in Facebook's terms of service) but until last month its has never been an issue!

Second, As of today, 13 April 15, JVZoo is shutting down their instant salespage option (this is where you could create your salespage and have JVZoo host it for free!...this was a perfect for beginners who hadn't invested in a domain and hosting).    >:(  This was done partially to build up the trustworthiness score on WOT.

With all this bad news, what can you do to still make money from JVZoo?

1 picture redirect services still work.

2 create social media posts (your own blog, G+, etc) that will send people to content where your jvzoo links (either your own products or affiliate products) are.  Post a link to social media post on facebook.  Create a fan page that points to your social media posts!

3 video marketing still works...create a video have a call to action in the video.

4 buying a domain and hosting and put up your salespage on your own domain.  Ironically you can still have your download file hosted by jvzoo! (up to 128MB)

There are still tons of ways to promote jvzoo links when dealing with facebook.  These are just a few to get the ball rolling.

Nothing is impossible to an open mind!
