Aweber / Getresponse
« on: March 11, 2009, 07:25:38 PM »
Hi Folks

In Mark's tutorial about he talks about using Aweber to set up the optin box.

Does anyone know whether Getreponse works in the same way?

If so, what is the number I need to enter into the PMC website config box?

Thanks

D

Hi Dominic

It works in a similar way.

The problem you will have is that squeeze page template may be customized to aweber.

Sometimes this can cause problems.

The way to learn about this is to actually put your Getresponse code in a blank web page using NVU.

Then you can see how it turns out. A starting point.

I've just been trying Mark's capture page with Getresponse.

After a little 'fiddling' I got it to work.

You need to take all reference to aweber out and replace with GR and tweak.

Hope that helps

Jim

Good luck, Dom.

I use aweber so I'm no help with your question. And I'd say Jim has given you some excellent information.

OK, what I see is that the autoresponder form on the PMC sites is smaller than what I get from GetResponse.
Unless there is something that I am missing at GetResponse ?

Does anyone know how to change this, to make it fit in the PMC sites ?
I really don't want to change autoresponders at this point.

If anyone has any answers to this problem, I will be in the chat room most of the day tomorrow.

Hi Derek

You should be able to customize the form code on the GetResponse site or in a simple test editor.

I don't use either of those services anymore but it should be a simple fix. PM your GR code to me if you need assistance, I'll do what I can...

Mark, any suggestions ?

I am going to call GR support, to find out how to make the optin box smaller, hopefully they can tell me.

Hi Derek,

I'll be happy to help. Can your email or pm your current code from GetReponse?

Thanks,
Mark
