I am new member who needs urgent help
« on: March 28, 2010, 11:15:31 PM »
Dear Colleagues,

I am excited with the new venture as a member in the RRW and PMC. Yesterday, I have asked my technical colleague to upload all the 31 niche websites. Everything went Okay, however, he requested from me keywords for clickbank, amazon, and others. Honestly, I was not sure what he meant about them and where are they in the script. I have had the courage to open the script text and find my way to solutions. However, I did not do anything as I want to make sure I am doing the right thing. I followed the instruction mentioned in the short video but there is nothing there about the keywords. Am I missing something here? I presumed that regardless of what is mentioned in the video, everything should be 1, 2, 3 . So we have the keywords, and as well I realised after uploading all the 31 websites that they share also all the same vidoes? are they meant to be sharing vidoes? I doubt it? so can I ammend the situation?

I would greatly much appreciate your help in this regard.

The last question: which of the traffic methods most likely friendly to such type of niche websites?

many thanks

Hi Raghida321

Welcome to the forum! I'll be happy to help you.

The PMC sites are structured so that you, the user, have plenty of flexibility. The keywords that you speak of are simply words that you enter into the config file. These words dictate what affiliate ads (Clickbank, Amazon, & eBay) are displayed on your PMC sites.

For example, on the "Stuffed Animals" site you may want to use the keyword "Teddy Bear" or "Stuffed Animal".

Another example, on the "Weight Loss" site you may want to use the keyword "lose weight", "diet" or "overweight".

Concerning the videos -  no, each site will display their own videos. The videos that are displayed are determined by your keywords as well - so the correct videos will not show until you add you keywords to the config file.

If you have any questions, just let us know!

Thanks,
Mark

Thank you Mark for the prompt response. How many keywords should we have for each page in the config file. So, it is left for us to determine these kewwords? Should they be selected for SEO purposes? or not necessary? Can we always change it? As I did not upload them, I would kindly appreciate that you let me know where shall I add the keyword codes?

many thanks for your help and patience,

Raghida Hallal

Hi Raghida ::P

:welcome: to RRW.

It's nice to meet you.

I see Mark has come along and answered some of your questions; so you're in good hands.

He'll be back...or some of the others will stop in to help, too.

And, you can send Mark a PM (Private Message) by using the PM in the Menu bar above. Or send him a help ticket from the Gold members' area.

Karen

P.S. I'm not experienced enough to answer some of your questions re: the PMC sites.

Hi Raghida

Good to meet you.

You have a few questions with respect to the PMC sites.

I'll see if I can answer them for you.

You asked: 'How many keywords should we have for each page in the config file?'
The config file governs the whole site and, as such, it would be best to put your broadest keyword into the config. file to catch as wide as possible amount of traffic. The site is designed to throw up a different page each time it is accessed so trying to apply a specific keyword to a specific page might be difficult (your technical guys may be able to arrange this).
However, since you 'own' this site you could try putting up as many variations of the site as you have keywords and see which keyword gives you the best ranking/traffic etc.

You asked: 'So, it is left for us to determine these keywords?'
Yes - is the short answer

You asked: 'Should they be selected for SEO purposes? or not necessary?'
These keywords govern the different Clickbank, Amazon and eBay ads that are shown and so have no SEO benefits - choose them for the best affiliate rewards you can get.

You asked: 'Can we always change it?'
Yes, you have access to the config file - you can change them as often as you want.

You asked: 'Where shall I add the keyword codes?'
The config file has places where you can add the keywords you want. The best thing to do would be to watch the video that Mark supplies on the PMC download area - this will show you how to alter the config file to your specs.

Hope those have helped - do not hesitate to post again if you have further questions.

Cheers

Val
