Your RRW Membership / RRW Website Download and Login Bug
« Last post by nhillebran on June 05, 2020, 12:35:36 AM »
There seems to be a bug in the RRW website.  I first noticed this last night.  I know after an hour the cookie expires so a person is automatically logged out.  When I go to click on a download  it brings me to the login page.  Normally, that's not an issue.  However, I can't download that particular product.

Once I click on a particular download after the time has expired (i.e. the one hour), I'm brought to the login page.  I login again and do my search as I had previously done.  I then go to click on that product to download it and I get taken back to the login page.  Why?  It seems as if once you click on that product after the login time you get stuck in that login page loop.  Granted, I can click on any other product in the search results and download it.  Just that one product that is clicked on. The only remedy is to clear my browser's cache and cookies.  This isn't tied to any one browser.  I've experienced this in Fiefox, Opera, and Google Chrome.

It's exceedinly annoying having to keep clearing my cache and cookies.  The time does expire because there are times I'm downloading multiple products.  There are times when a product is 152MB+ in size.  That can take a while to download.

Can we get something on Trello? Not sure if this has been asked before. Thank you in advance!
I asked for a review copy because I was concerned about the possibility of this being an improperly repurposed plr product from Tiffany Lambert who I know and have caught other people abusing her plr license.

With that said...this is a PROPER plr product and it has some great information in it.

The plr license is spelled out about what you can and can't do.

As an upsell, you might want to convert the book into an audio/video course.

Welcome back to the membership nhillebran!

Here are a couple of go-to guides inside the membership when it comes to repurposing plr:

In the Internet Marketing Black Belt Section of the membership there is a course called Profit from PLR which gives you plenty of ideas of making money with plr.

Inside the membership is The PLR Playbook written by my friend Charles Harper, who is a RRW member, gives you a ton of ways to profit from plr.

Bonus item:

Another plr master is my friend Arun Chandran, he makes plr and tells you how to repurpose it. Arun has ghostwritten a ton of content for other plr sellers and quite a bit of it is already in the members' area. A lot of Rick Warid's products were ghostwritten by Arun.  He has a blog post full of training videos that he should be charging for

Mark hasnt actively been on the forum in 2 years now.  It's just Jim and I monitoring things.   As you know, neither of us has that kind of access.  I'm still recovering from mental exhaustion from the 21 events we did in 24 days for Black History month so I'm not on the forum much myself other than dealing with spam accounts.  I'm deleting on average 10-20 accounts daily.

I've noticed the increase in security  (i.e. compared to when I was on the forums a few years back).  That is, the CAPTCHA and the two questions one has to answer each time they post or reply to a post.  I'm wondering if a CDN would help curb the spambots any (e.g. Cloudflare).  Granted, I'm sure it still a battle but every extra layer of protection may help.
I believe it's possible.  I've been online for over two decades.  I bought my fair share of PLR content over the years.  For quite a few years I had a Gold membership here.  I let it lapse due to me just getting away from PLR and such.  However, just renewed my membership.  Here's my experience.

I haven't sold PLR, however, I've been online long enough to have witnessed others that have sold it as well as have seen what's available here.  I remember reading years back about someone who took the sound files (i.e. royalty free music and sounds) and created a membership website.  hey didn't just flat out resell the sound files.  They repurposed it and turned it into a niche membership website.  Giving people access to royalty fre music and sound.  This was a great idea as these sound files and music compositions are often used in videos and other digital media.

I would recommend you look through the tons of content available for download (depending on if you're a Gold member or not).  Use that content to create your own products.  Don'e just rename the product and slap your name or company name on it.  Make an effort.  If you download an eBook or articles, I'd reccomend you:

  • Read through all of the content.  Check for grammatical errors. Trust me, there's TONS of grammatical errors in PLR content.
  • If the information is non-fiction, then research the facts provided in the content.  Find credible sources that back up what's being said.  I would preferably use government websites (i.e. dot gov)
  • Create relevant upsells and bonuses to your product.  Don't just throw in some crappy SEO guide or random Internet Marketing related PLR content you dusted off from 10+ years ago to use as your bonuses.  Put some effort into it.
  • Create a decent sales page and related video content to help boost traffic.  You don't need to be an expert in video editing software.  Just create a decent informative video with Microsoft PowerPoint.  Record audio with a decent microphone and free software like Audacity for the voiceover.  Edit with video if needed with a free software such as Hitfilm Express, Openshot, Shotcut, Davinci, etc.

With all the PLR content available in a Gold membership, there's tons of potential products that can be created.  It will take effort, though.  All too often I see people wanting to crap repackage something else and make a quick buck and then wonder why no one likes their product.
