Henley,

Fatcow seems stable as a company and I've never noticed any down time (which is always a bonus! ;) ).
I've also had better than average interactions with their help desk folks. As in, the only time it didn't end in the result I wanted was when they just plain couldn't do it.

The only downside I've seen is that it is not cpanel. They have an in-house controlpanel that has pretty much the same functionality as cpanel, just not in the same places. If you've got everything in cpanel memorized as far as location, then maybe skip this, otherwise I'm happy with it as a cpanel alternative.

FYI: The one script I had trouble with on Fatcow as JVManager1. I think they were missing a Perl module I needed and I was too impatient to ask them to add it so I used a different host.

Let me know how that works out!

If it's not CPanel, then it might not be suitable for my needs.

I wanted to do some videos of setting up some demo sites, and as most people will have CPanel, it makes more sense to do them on a host with CPanel.

But I've passed your link on to a friend  ;D and he is interested.

Thanks for your help guys,

I have given up trying to get the cron jobs to work
with parabots, doing a search on google I found lots of
people were having the same problem.

Instead I have opted for a paid one (one that accepts paypal and has an affiliate program) see my signature

Does all I want and more.

Now to start some list building using the products available on RRW

Happy Days!  ;C

Brian

I had same problem :

"Can anyone help me with the auto responder parabots?

I know some members are using it and might have had the same problems.

I installed parabots successfully

All the admin facilities seem to work ok!
I can set up and use the form code
Tested it myself, I am added to my list OK
And the first message is sent out just perfect!

The problem is with follow-up messages (they do not come)

I thought the problem would be with the cron jobs
But after getting in touch with my server, they went into my account and checked them, they said that they were all working OK "

This is my cronsjob, please advice me......

Hi srizal2 ::P

:welcome: to RRW.

It's nice to meet you.

Well, it seems you have a bit of a problem here with the auto responder parabots.

I have no clue how to fix it for you. But, I will suggest that you send Mark a PM (private message) using the "PM" in the Menu bar above.

Or send him a message through the "Help Desk" / Support Desk.

Karen

P.S. Some of the others in the forum here might also see your message, now that I've responded to it for you...and maybe they'll be able to help.

Welcome To RRW srizal2,
Have you gone through this entire thread. All possible options have been addressed but the OP has moved on to a different script.
