Who writes kids stories?
« on: March 04, 2013, 11:47:46 AM »
I need a story for some promotional materials. Might even be ongoing, who knows??
Something along the lines of "The Adventures of Minnie Moo" (the Freebie Cow).

PM if you want to give it a shot.

Thanks,
~Karen

Brings to mind that old song lyric:

Folks here's a story 'bout Minnie the Moocher;
she was a red hot hoochie coocher.
She was the roughest toughest frail;
but Minnie had a heart as big as a whale.

from Minnie the Moocher, Cab Calloway 1931

LOL, I remember that from The Blues Brothers movie.

Actually, I came up with it as a take on "Mini Me" from Austin Powers.
I've gotten pretty porky sittin' here at this computer and one day I looked in the mirror and thought: "girl, you ain't nothin' but a big ol' cow these days!". Bingo, Minnie Moo  ;D

Freebie Pig just didn't sound at all good and Minnie Snort ain't no better. LOL

I quite like the idea of Freebie Pig rootin' around the internet for the coupon equivalent of acorns and black truffles!

Similar to this but kinder-looking!

Okay. I think writing a story for kid looks easy but is the opposite actually. For one, I can't remember how when I was a kid used to think. haha
