A List-building Project, at no cost...
« on: March 03, 2015, 11:34:37 PM »
 Hello All,

I have a pretty good idea to help others (as well as myself) build our mailing lists more quickly.  It involves giving away my free eBooks at your site. It's quite easy, and it won't cost you anything at all.

Drop me a line, and I'll be glad to send you details.

Have a good day!

David

P.S. You can write me per PM, or by email: dboltoncreations AT gmail.com

Welcome to the group dbolton

It does sounds like a good idea but you might do a couple of things first:

1 You need to introduce yourself. (You have only done 2 posts)

2 Fill out your profile (the only information you have is your email address you dont even have a pic in your profile)

3 Make some great posts here on the forum to build your credibility. (Remember IM 101 people will work with people they know, like and trust)

Hi Jerome,

The truth is, I've been a member for years now. But I hadn't come into the forum in at least two years. When I wanted to get into the forum today, I couldn't find the password; I wrote to get another, but that didn't seem to work for the forum, so I signed up again. (I had forgotten that the forum needs a separate password). Check it out: my User name then (as now) was dbolton. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Very timely post ... I've been tossing around doing a freebie exchange, giveaway co-op, whatever you want to call it. Would you (or any others) be interested in doing something like that?

I think I know what the problem was.  I found your post from 2010, you signed in as a guest could be why you couldnt find your password.

Hi,

Yes, I would indeed be interested! Depending on the genres of your books and mine, we could think about how we might best proceed. For example: I don't write about Internet marketing at all; nonetheless, I could offer such a book as a "guest freebie" on my free books page.  And as far as any "in-book" publicity is concerned, we'd just have to see that it's written/presented in a way that blends well with the overall genre/style of the free book in which it is presented.

In any case, a collaboration of this sort could increase the exposure of all who take part, and that can only be beneficial.

Let me know more about your books, etc. For anyone interested in checking out my books, my site is: www.dboltoncreations.com  The free books are at the bottom of the page; click on one, and you will go to the "free books page", where each has its description.

I wish you all a good day!

David

Hi David,
My primary niche these days is offline/local/mobile marketing. Right now I'm doing a campaign promoting a mobile website training program that's free. It isn't mine ... I'm an affiliate. As part of that I have created a bonus page that has a lite version of one of my products and other mobile marketing resources, many from RRW.

It's actually going well ... slow but steady. I am creating a hub of additional capture pages and chaining them together ... all lead to the bonus download page.

As much as I totally understand having a "connection" between the promotions ... IE similar niche and so on. Most of the giveaway events I've seen are a mix so I don't see a big issue with doing it that way.

Right now I'm looking into scripts to run the system. I THINK I have it narrowed down to two. I hope to finalize that over the next couple days. Have Honey Do's this weekend so figuring early next week.

I'll be back asap to discuss further. Also, will make a separate post about it once I'm over the script hurdle.

Best Always,
Mike

Wanted to touch base ... I've decided I need to finish the various capture pages and funnels. Hard to move on promotion when things aren't quite ready. Duh ... I'm a genius that way!  *duh*

I'm doing that as we speak and figure it will take most of this week. After that I can dedicate some time to looking for the system to run the giveaway. I'll be back to discuss things then.
