Color Choice Resource
« on: April 20, 2011, 07:53:49 PM »
Was poking around for some help in creating a color scheme for a new site (yes, even designers get a "creative block" from time to time!) and ran across this site:

http://kuler.adobe.com

I had discovered it a year or so ago, but it wasn't very well along in development. Now it's a nice resource for color schemes contributed by the community.

Free. Offered by Adobe.

That's a really neat tool - thanks for sharing that Gary!

I've been using the "ColorChooser" app on my ipod touch to help with complementary colors lately.

It also came in handy while meeting with a web client to let them drive the color wheel and pick a color rather than just telling me "purple."

Yup, Color Chooser is handy. There's something on my Mac called "Digital Color Meter", which is handy for seeing what the hex value of web colors are.
