Firefox 7 Issues
« on: October 09, 2011, 05:44:29 PM »
Hey, everyone.  I'm a long time Firefox user and had been having issues for the past several days with the latest version of Firefox 7.

It seems that whenever I was opening multiple tabs, the browser would lockup, and I would have to close it and reopen it.  I also use other browsers, but mostly to view websites that I am working on.

I found a solution to this problem and just wanted to share it in case anyone was having the same issues.

Thanks!

Kelly Ling

Thanks Kelly

I was having the same problem too...i've changed network.http.max-connections to 32 as suggested

Now I will wait and see what happens

The people at Mozilla should have waited on this release till all the bugs were sorted

Regards
Craig

You're welcome, Craig.  Glad I could help a little.  It was bugging the daylights out of me this weekend.

I hear that about waiting until all the bugs were out.  I worked for a software company over 20 years ago, and we didn't release anything until we were sure most of the bugs were out.  Today, consumers are software testers for companies.

Hi Wilson,

Welcome to the forum!

Today, consumers are software testers for companies.

Isn't that the truth! ;;:B

If firefox 7 have problem, then try to install new version. It will help you in this problem... If you still fine this problem then try to install old version then 7. But when you installing new version of firefox then may be old plugins will not work...
