How to mask an affiliate link?

Hi Guys,

I need to know how to mask an affiliate link in an autoresponder message where if a user clicks on eg. http://yoursite.com/xxxx where xxxx is the code of the affiliate site and the user gets re-directed to the affiliate site?

I have read it some where but can't seem to remember the step.

I also need to put in an aweber sign up form on my blog, I tried the aweber wp plugin, activated it and dragged the widget in the primary widget area but it is not showing when I view the posts. What have I done wrong? Any suggestions to rectify will be helpful to me.

Last question, How do I lock down some meaty part of a post from view unless the viewer optsin to my list to view the full post? I know this is being done but wonder how?

Hiding an affiliate link can be done in several ways:

1. Encrypt the link at Clickbank.com
2. Search for "cloak" in the Gold Vault. There are several there you can try.
3. Go to http://www.wordpress.org and do a search. I've used "Go Codes" in the past successfully.
4. Purchase the CloakPiG plugin. It's one of the best paid plugins out there. Just do a Google search for a "deal".

Aweber code:

I've had mixed results with Aweber plugins. Best thing to do is grab the web form javascript code from your Aweber account. Just add it to your Wordpress page or post. WP can now parse javascript code properly.

Locking portions of a post:

One way I know to do this is with the paid plugin WP eMember. When the optin is submitted, your success page would be the post with the hidden content. When the subscriber is returned, they will need to login, but will be able to see the content since eMember will set the proper access permissions. This method is a little complex to set up, but works well. Perhaps some other can suggest simpler ways to protect content.

Sometimes things complicate me. I have in the past bought a domain similiar to the prodct and had my affiliate re directed to my domain. Did that sound right or have I explained it wrong. I'm not used to working with codes, probably make a hash of things.
