Is there any way to have a form's submit do different things with the form fields?
Client has website already set-up using Joomla CMS and insists that no changes to current registration process.
Site is a 'local' site where 'members' sign up to access coupons and enter contests. Also members are being sent regular updates, announcements, newsletters - currently are just copy and paste manually into his email client. Already running into ISP mailing limits (200 per hour) and has extreme undeliverability because of this.
current form fields
Name (First & Last):* Email Address:* Confirm Email:* Create Your Password:* Confirm Password:* Gender: Male Female (radio buttons) Year of Birth:* Postal Code:* Your Town/City:* How did you hear about urdeals.ca: Tell A Friend (Enter their email):

What I would like it to do is actually add the info in the fields to 2 databases - his local registration database as well as the 3rd-party autoresponder database or the other option would be to add the info to ours and automatically have members email client send an email to a specific email addresss at autoresponder so that it would send an opt-in confirmation email. Either way immediate access to members area would be granted...
Site owner is extremely reluctant to require confirmation email in order to access website as much as I try to convince otherwise. (already explained the benefits of not clogging database with invalid info , as well as CAN-SPAM etc)
Any assistance would be appreciated.
