Adding paypal buttons to a madbee tech website
« on: August 06, 2016, 09:47:05 PM »
Hi... just hope I am in the right place... I have as a backup more or less a website with the host madbee tech.com.
For the money  I find ii works ok (see www.vintage tractors.com as the example ) but has one great fault , that i just cannot overcome.
I want to get paid by the buyer using a paypal  buy button ? But they just never work. When installed they either work not at all , or just send you back to the webpage where the button is located... Anyone have a solution?  Madbee offers no help that I can see just tells you to use their cart... something I do not want to do ... thanks in advance Don

Hi Don,

Welcome to the forum. So basically after a customer makes a purchase you want them redirected to a specific page?

basically you need a cancelation page and a thank you page see attachment 1

then you have two options: see attachment 2
option 1: use PayPal's code to insert a buy now button.
option 2: use a buy now image button on your site and add a link to it, or use buy now text and add a link to it using the email link option.

Hi  to those who replied and sorry for the delay...
Normally ( I have another website) I  make a "buy now button" in Paypal, then copy and paste  the code  into the webpage... it works perfectly on my other site "tractor-manuals-downunder.com"
but is useless in my madbee tech website "vintage tractor manuals.com"... from what I can see , I have to use the madbeetech cart system something I do not want to do... hope someone can assist cheer Don
