Man, tell me about it.

The only trouble (for me) was that the files were in .TAR and I didn't know how to open them. I usually use Win-Zip...which didn't work.  But, I did a Google search and came  up with jZip.com.  I think it unzips everything.  I love it.   ;D

Thank you, Santa Mark.

Glad you guys liked the 100K plr articles. If you need an extractor for the RAR files, here's several:

jZip  http://jzip.com/
ZipGenius  http://www.zipgenius.com/
WinRAR  http://www.rarlab.com/
7-Zip  http://www.7-zip.org/

Hi Mark,

Thank you for all these zip extractors.  I tried 7-Zip before I found jZip.  I didn't like 7-Zip...it's graphics are boooring!  Besides, I like the little jZip logo better.   ;D

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to give everyone something to 'chew on' here:

Do you guys have any idea how many ebooks you can create from 100,000 plr articles? Think about it ... the possibilities are endless. Bundle the articles into ebooks that you sell -- or use the newly created ebooks as opt-in 'bait'.

Try it!  :::tu

I may have said this elsewhere on the forum, but it is worth repeating

"Thank You"

Hi Jason, great idea. I've thought about this.

Do you or maybe someone else have any case studies, examples, etc. of how you've done it?

That is more than enough articles to do some serious business.

Just one concern-how long have these articles been going round?

Good point, J

Well, I'd say at least since December 16...because if I remember correctly, that's when we got the download.

However, where they were before we got them is something I don't know.

I'd also guess that since we all write differently and/or handle the content differently, too, the chances of having an end product exactly the same might be as much as having snow in July. Except with the way the weather has been going this last year or so, that might happen after all. Snow in July, that is.  ;D

I'll be interested in reading comments from others, too.

My guess is : A while

But as Karen says : it's the way you package them

Use them as :

Scripts for audio
Slides for powerpoint videos
Go through each collection and take out the "Oh wow..I didn't know that" facts and you have a new report.
blog posts
opt in bait
Print them out and offer as a postable report or offer them at 'on demand' printers such as Lulu.com
Print them out and fold 'em up and you have hats, boats, bracelets, firelighters... heck anything you like  ;D
