Ways to use PLR products to boost your blog.
« on: August 10, 2013, 11:34:29 PM »
Hi,

Blogging requires you to produce a lot of content on a regular basis. If you do not have a ghostwriter writing your blog content, then it means you will need to spend some time writing some blog posts.
PLR articles and e-books are very popular these days, and they can help you to unleash the power of your blogging.

Customize PLR articles or eBooks and put them on your blog. All you have to do is to look for PLR content that relates to your niche, break that content into smaller pieces and customize it to make it unique. This will also make your blog very informative and helpful, which will make your visitors want to bookmark your blog and visit it on regular basis. You can also compile PLR content into special reports, make them unique and give them away to your list. Using this approach can help sell new products to your list on a regular basis.

Hope PLR content to increase the power of your blogging. PLR content that you can quickly customize means that you can generate content for your blog very quickly and easily. Remember, the more customization PLR and fresh content gives you more traffic to your blog.

Have a charming day !!!  :sunshine:

:help:  OK. One more time because I just don't get it, or at least I think I do, but better to be safe than sorry!

So if I want to use RRW produts on my personal blogs, what license(s) permit that? Or, what license does NOT permit that?  Does the license have to say specifically " to be used as web content"  etc.?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Mary,

Are you referring to ebooks/reports or software/plugins?

The answer is ..it depends on the individual license for the product.  Each product in the RRW membership comes with a specific license stating what you can and can not do.  If the license states free to use as web content, unrestricted rights or something to that affect you can use them on your blog.  But again you have to read the individual license for the product you want to use to be sure.

Thanks for getting back to me on that. Yeah, I look at every license before I use them, but I can stare at them till I am blue in the face, it is still as clear as mud.

So lets say if I want to use as blog posts, and the rights are:
[YES] YOU CAN use this product for your own private use.
[NO] YOU CANNOT give away
[NO] YOU CANNOT sell this product
[NO] YOU CANNOT sell this product with resell rights
[NO] YOU CANNOT sell this product with master resell rights
[NO] YOU CANNOT sell this product with private label rights
[NO] YOU CANNOT offer as a bonus
[NO] YOU CANNOT add to membership sites
[NO] YOU CANNOT bundle with other products
[NO] YOU CANNOT sell on auction sites
You have personal use rights to this product. "Personal Use" rights basically means that you can read the product (ebook), view it (video), listen to it (audio), upload it to your host (niche blog), or use it (script/software) but you cannot sell it nor give it away. In short, you can only use it for your personal private use.

It's that upload to your host niche blog that throws me. It's like I can't make any money off of it, but I can use it for my own site?   ;;:B Then there is that word private.

It would help if you gave us which specific product you are referring to.  The license you posted is a generic license where the product creator was lazy.  They created 1 license for all of  their different types of products they create.  Basically you can use this product for blog posts on blogs you personally own.

Thanks for getting back to me on that. Yeah, I look at every license before I use them, but I can stare at them till I am blue in the face, it is still as clear as mud.

Hi Mary,

Quote
upload it to your host (niche blog)

I believe that refers to the niche blogs that come with a personal use license.  You can upload those niche blogs to your host and monetize them through Clickbank, Adsense, and Amazon ads but the license won't let you sell the blogs nor give them away.

Thanks,
Mark

My apologies, as I always roll my eyes at people who do JUST WHAT I DID and not give original product name, just wanted to save people from having to download and check out license. (Like nobody in this forum except me is a product hoarder and would have to actually download it lol)  It is Kindle Empire and Kindle Krusher type licenses I am thinking of.

I have to be honest, I usually don't use PLR on my blogs. Well, I do, but I Dragon Speak or rather Dragon re-speak it.  But these have good info that I would love to share as is, plus I am writing other things blah blah blah, whine whine whine.

On the other hand, the Kindle Publishing Guide has a nice clear (ish)  license, lots of yeses and not many noses so I was pretty confident to use.

License Terms
[YES] YOU CAN use this product
[YES] YOU CAN give it away
[YES] YOU CAN sell this product
[YES] YOU CAN edit & modify this product
[YES] YOU CAN offer as a bonus
[YES] YOU CAN add to paid membership sites
[YES] YOU CAN bundle with other products
[YES] YOU CAN sell on auction sites
[NO] YOU CANNOT sell this product with resell rights
[NO] YOU CANNOT sell this product with master resell rights
[NO] YOU CANNOT sell this product with private label rights

AND, again, let me thank you guys for answering!  (And can I just apologize in advance for the next time(s) I ask the same darned question. Which I most likely will! lol)
And don't we have a sticky that sort of explains all of this?  I am sure I have seen it but again, I never find anything when I need it, only after or before  ;;:B

Just so you know, with Kindle Empire and Kindle Krusher you CANT put that information on your blogs! The license prohibits it!  As the license states...for an ebook all you can do is read it.  The information about uploading to your host is only if the product was a niche blog.
