How to decrease load time of website?

My website is taking too much time to load, bounce rate is being increase. It's not good SEO point of view. Please suggest me how to decrease load time of my website?

Hi Daniel

What type of website do you have?

The main problem I've found is the load time of images.
Perhaps that is something you could look at first.

If you're running a wordpress setup you may need a cache plugin to help load time.

One thing ... if you have an anti-virus program running it can make it seem as though the site is slow. Do all sites take a unusual amount of time to load?
