I used to be a gold member, but I gave it up a while ago.  I have come back here a few times, and wondered what was going on. Now that I am retired, I am getting back into internet marketing, and came here for PLR, but I don't understand what is going on.  It seems like Mark has NOTHING to do with the site any more, 3 or 4 comments a year from the owner does not make sense for a website that generates $$.  I wonder if it has been sold and the members have not been informed? Anyway, not investing any money until I can prove to myself that this fairly expensive PLR website is still worth it.  LOVE to hear from some of you older members about the abandonment, you must be shocked.

just what are you basing statement on? and maybe more importantly, IMO, just what other sites are you comparing it to?

First off welcome back to the Forum!  I see you havent posted in a few months.
Second, congratulations to making it to retirement.
Third, Mark still is the owner of this forum and the plr membership site.
Fourth, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by fairly expensive plr website.  The cost of the gold membership is $20 a month.   That's around the same pricing as some hosting companies charge and less that some of the good autoresponder companies charge.  If you use the techniques you learn in the gold membership you can easily cover the cost of the gold membership.  Remember this is an investment in order to build your online business.  $20 a month is chickenfeed.

LOVE to hear from some of you older members about the abandonment

Just because Mark is going through some personal issues doesnt make me feel abandoned.  I miss my friend, but I dont feel that he abandoned me.   I dont feel abandoned on the 15th of every month when I get my Resell Rights Weekly Affiliate commission deposit into my paypal account.  Do I wish I could chat with him from time to time...of course I do!  I do know that when he is ready he'll get back online and start posting on the forum again.

My sense is Mark's carrying some heavy weight. We really can't know the depth, but we can control our activities and attitudes. Sure, I miss Mark because he's an awesome dude and a great operator. I believe we will all come out stronger over the long haul. Send out prayers.

About three years back, I had emergency gallbladder surgery (like, almost, could have been on the way out emergency). Was in the hosp for 2 weeks, lost 30 pounds in that time and wasn't totally functional for about 4 months. But, hey, I cheated death once again!!!!

Hate to bump an old thread, Just like to say, even though Mark might not be around as much as he used to (sounds like understandable reasons), the gold membership is still updated all the time. Have not noticed any slow down or anything. Like it's always been for many years.

The last message I know Mark saw of mine was in late September of this year. (Gotta love Facebook read receipts) But the last time I actually had a conversation was May of last year.
