Anyone else tired of the heat and looking forward to fall?
« on: September 26, 2016, 01:03:30 PM »
It has been hot this summer.  In our neck of the woods, we've had more than 80 days with 90+ degree temps.  And I am ready for fall!  Are you?

Here's something to help you get "in the mood" for those cooler temps!

Hi Kelly,

I like summer, but I LOVE autumn! :) October is my favorite month so yes, I am most definitely ready!

I was born in August the hottest month of the year.  I love the heat!  I spent 3 years in the desert where the temperature was always over 90 degrees March through October!  :high5:

I was born and raised in South Florida where there is hardly any change of seasons.  Moved to live in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and love that cooler weather.  :-)

I might have agreed with you earlier, but now it's in the dead of Winter and this is the coldest and longest lasting snowfall (snow the entire Winter) on Salt Spring Island, BC, Canada where I live.... so I am now  in the opposite position, wanting "the cooler temperatures to end" and for Spring and eventual hot and sunny temperatures to BEGIN!!!!!!!!!   (Grrrrrrr!!!  I'm cold!)
