Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are doing well.

I have just downloaded Viral Master List Builder and I love the concept, always have. I used to use ZipBrander all the time but it doesn't work properly any long. I was so excited to see Viral Master List Builder in this months downloads.

I haven't actually tried it yet but I wouldn't be able to test for myself anyway because the question is regarding whether it works on all platforms. Mac, iPhone and Android.

I know the software id PC only but wondering if the branded copy your distributing will open and trigger the registration on platforms other than PC. As I mentioned I don't have a Mac or an iPhone to try it. Has anyone given it a try on those OS's?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Best Regards,

Product/Service Reviews / My $0.2 regarding MailX
« on: May 03, 2016, 09:57:10 AM »
Hey Everyone,
I assume you have seen the promotions for Mailx the last few days. I HAVE not bought it so I honestly can't speak of any specifics but wanted to mention two red alerts I have.

1: It really isn't free mailing. The seller states you'll need a relay service such as, Green Arrow or whatever you prefer.

I do believe if you want awesome delivery you should look into these services BUT IMHO it goes against the premise of the offer.

2: I have been managing mail systems/servers for about 15 years. I've seen a TON of these one time payment mailer systems pop up. NOT ONE last more than a year and I'm being generous there in case there's one I haven't seen. Not likely but possible none the less.

Mailers are not something that's sustainable over the long term with a one off payment. Just can't be done ... the overhead is a moving target.

If you're wanting to give it a try ... by all means. Just wanted to post these food for thought items.

Here is a feature rich option that is FREE ....

Disclaimer: I have only contacted support one time and response was pretty good. Also, I have JUST started trying it out so can't comment on the long term stability. I do think it's worth giving it a try ... what do you have to lose.

Questions About Latest Products / Video Monster and Win10
« on: November 05, 2015, 04:16:41 PM »
Anyone been able to run Video Monster on a Win10 machine?

I received a large blue popup saying there could be security issues and chose to run it anyway. Once I did I got ...

"Access Violation at address 0019F7DB. Write of address 0019F7DB"

Ran "Compatibility Troubleshooting" and used recommended settings but same problem.

Google search only comes back with generic Access violation troubleshooting.

Technical Assistance / Heads Up regarding Magic Guru Squeeze
« on: March 10, 2015, 02:32:04 PM »
Hey Folks,
I know this came out over a year ago but just now giving it a spin due to a list building project I'm working on.

It's a really good generator and I'm not a fan of most "generators". But I have to admit it creates those stylish capture/squeeze pages that are so popular easily. If you haven't tried it I recommend you do. Took me much less time than building from scratch or modding a template.

On the downside I found three issues ...

#1: The form wasn't centered even though the proper coding for centering was in place. I've found this before when using indepth css. This was a show stopper for me.

#2: The box for the headline, subheading and form was all the way at the top. By no means a show stopper but I prefer it to be down a bit.

#3: The software does not include the option to add "Terms", "Privacy", "Earnings Disclaimer", and "Contact Us" links. This is pretty much mandatory these days.

I decided to dig into the generated files and see how this could be fixed. I have attached a text file giving detailed instructions on handling these issues.

Granted it does take some code modding so some may not be comfortable doing that ... it really is pretty easy, give a try, you might surprise yourself. If you still don't want to do it, I have included info on contacting me to do this for you.

See the difference ...

Hope you all find this helpful,

... this looks like a good one considering the trend for self defense. Combine that with fitness and I think it's a much better angle.

The right might be confusing ... here they are:

Your PLR License:

  • [YES] Can edit, take apart, add to, or sell as is
[YES] Can be bundled with other products
[YES] Can be offered as a bonus
[YES] Can use the content as a viral report
[YES] Can be used to create audio/video products
[YES] Can give them to your affiliates to publish to promote your products
[YES] Can be used for opt-in bonuses (newsletter signups, etc.)
[YES] Can be added to paid membership sites
[YES] Add to free membership sites
[YES] Can be offered through auction sites
    [YES] Can claim full authorship
    [YES] Can alter graphics
[YES] Can publish as web content INCLUDING the ebook
    [NO] Can Sell resell rights
[NO] Can sell master resell rights
[NO] Can sell private label rights
    Images and Graphics
You can freely use any image from this pack in digital and printed format, for personal and commercial use, without attribution requirement to the original author.

You'll notice it states the content can be added to Free and Paid Membership Sites BUT the "No's" say the PLR can't sell any of the rights. I'm unsure what rights we would end up with. For me personal plr is fine.

Not something I'm wanting to get into but thought some here might want it and it's at a pretty low price right now and it looks like a good packabe.

License/Rights is an image so I can't copy/paste here but "Free Membership Sites" is a YES!

Off Topic Forum / Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the States! Happy Weekend to all!

Hope your holiday season is nothing short of terrific!

Effective Oct. 16th 2013 are new provisions under the TCPA.

The down and dirty of this new ruling is that, basically, you need to have confirmed acknowledgement from all sms subscribers even those already on your sms marketing list AKA double opt-in but slightly different.

In this acknowledgement you must provide to the subscriber what you intend to be sending to them. For example ...

Once someone signs up to your sms marketing list you might send the following as the first message ...

"Hello, Thank You for subscribing! We will be sending X number of messages to you per <day|week|month> advertising our services and products. Please reply yes to accept"

Pretty lame but you get the idea ... please write something you are most comfortable with.

Failure to do this step could result in fines that would put a large company out of business so the little guy or gal doesn't stand a chance.

Sorry but disclaimers are necessary.

1: You must NOT consider this legal advice. I always do my best to pass on accurate information but I'm not, nor do I have attorneys on staff. Seek legal council in your local area.

2: This applies to ONLY marketing SMS. If you are using any mobile product for notifications ... i.e. Church or club notices that do not attempt to generate cashflow ... you are not bound by the new rulings.

3: This only applies to the U.S.A. BUT if you market via SMS to subscribers within the U.S.A. you may be liable as well.

Get the scoop here ...

Hope this is helpful!

Product Requests / Might be a good addition ...

Hi Mark,
Might be a good product to add to the Gold area ....

Can't copy the rights here becasue they are buried in an image. It does show that the Resale License allows you to add to paid membership site but the right we, as members, would have. Personal is ok with me but dev would be cool too.
